Not who you are replying to but it's kind of a victim of the 2 albums that came after. Its great, but it's outclassed by ATLiens and Aquemini in every way.

ATLiens is one of the best hip hop albums ever made. It's what set Outkast apart from any other rap group at the time. It's absolutely a classic, that album bleeds character.
DOOM doesn't deserve to memed on this hard by Sup Forums, respect that man

I wouldn't count Southernplaya as a classic. I don't find it all that memorable or innovative, but maybe Outkast's legacy unfairly colors that opinion.
