My opinion is that no "Race" Union club should ever be allowed to associate themselves with any type of educational establishment. What should be allowed instead is unions that are dedicated to debate and discuss issues (might even be race related issues) where people would be able to argue for and against ideas that they feel are worth the trouble. For a school club like this to actually work you would need to have certain rules obviously. Some of them might be things like "If you call someone a racist, homophobe or bigot without clear logical reasons to or just by the fact that you feel that way" you should be expelled from said union.
As for the teacher, I would imagine that there's somewhere you can turn to report her for wasting your money by having you watch some BS that you gain no knowledge in actual chemistry for.
