Ask your answers. Prefarably about Russia's internal politics and geopolitical stance.
I was the OP of a thread titled "What is Putin's ultimate goal" a while back if anyone remembers.
I'll try to reply in most expanded form as possible.
My political views are in moderate (partly lib - partly socialist) conservative spectrum.
I work as a web-programmer. Married, have a child.

Where are the silos Ivan?

It's a meme on 2ch.
>Зaдaвaйтe cвoи oтвeты

No

Please, give me the answer for the question I asked you.

Does the Russian media ever talk about Canadian/American militarization of the Arctic?

How long can the Putin regime last with the current sanctions? Indefinitely?

Doesn't matter.
The rockets there can reach any location.

Is there really a problem in Russia with roving packs of wild dogs/wolves attacking people?

Is there a widespread NSA type program? Do you think the government tracks your posts or is it only on facebook/twitter/vk?

How do you treat your cats over there? Are they treated well and given head rubs and love or are they treated poorly?

Do you think there is a chance of Putin ever 'invading' (little green men, etc.) the Baltics? Is NATO just peddling fear about that for no reason?

Not if corbcuck and the tree huggers get their way. Memes and such aside, I know it's not quite what you had in mind in terms of questions, but what is the public/general view of the outside world for the common Russian? I could google it or look at any other source, but I would be remiss if I passed up the chance to ask an actual Russian.

>Does the Russian media ever talk about Canadian/American militarization of the Arctic?
If anything of note concerning the Arctic happens, then yes. More often they report about how Canada and the US are concerned about Russia's increasing presense there.

>How long can the Putin regime last with the current sanctions? Indefinitely?
Sanctions is the lesser problem of Russia's economy. The drop in oil price and structural problems of Russia's macroeconomy is what really undermines Russia.
Will Putin stay indefinately. I don;t know. He may stay for the 2nd (4th) term after the 2018 presidential elections, but there is a chance he'll step down to a successor due to old age or Kremlin's internal power struggle.

Not that I know of.
In the remote locations however you may find bears intruding human settlements and even average sized towns due to shortage of food in the woods or whatever. There a vid of bear that got in the mall floating around the web.

WHY U GUYS DIDNT WIPE OUT OTTOMAN ?

What you guys think of BRICS?

What are you guys planning to do with Brazil?

Of course they do.
However Russians are not as adamant about their privacy as Americans. The general stance is - if you don't violate the law - then you're safe. But recent approved laws are getting more and more ridiculous making posting on the web a dangerous activity. As you may have heard, some Russians were sentenced for the REPOST of a post that insults orthodox people or that qualifies as ""hatespeech"".

Will you nuke other BRICS countries? They are mostly shitholes desu

Russians love cats. Like really.

Russia doesn't care about Baltics. Kremlin got over their inclusion in NATO long ago. It's a strengthening of NATO's contingent there what concerns Putin and the elites the most.
Other than that Russia doesn't really have any interest in sprats. The recent hysteria around the Baltics is a thing because NATO finally found a long wished boogeyman. The danger here is that at one point tensions may spiral out of control and it won't be some green men in the area but border-related incidents like above the Baltic sea.

Expat-electrician here.
Does it make sense to come back? How much does a 1-room apartment cost in a bigger city's 12-floor beton block? How are the monthly wages? Are still being withhold sometimes?

What is the domestic political situation like? All we hear is russia=putin. Tell me about political parties o russia, who in power and who in opposition, and how does support of political parties cha ge over time

Did you see the match least night?

Not political, but what is the best russian brand of vodka?

Thanks. Do you see Russia economically catching up to or surpassing Western Europe in the next 50 years?

How often and in which context is Finland brought up in education and politics?

Best vodka is Polish.

What's your take on finno ugric people living in Russia?

>what is the public/general view of the outside world for the common Russian?
Average Russian is patriotic. In this sense we're like Americans. We consider our country as number one in many areas and general population believes we can outperform anyone in any field if we consolidate and really try to.
Other than that a Russian is tolerant of other cultures unless they try to impose their ways and perspective. Contrary to what the Western mass media may tell you. Russians don't hate the West. We identify as Europeans, certainly not Asians, but as a seperate unique civillization with different mentality and a different outlook on the world. Many Russians are eager to promote it, like Americans do with democracy and freedom, which I believe is a negative trait.

Because of the February revolution.

Opinion on lebanom ?

How are the ЛДПP really viewed? Is Жиpинoвcкий just a total clown or what?

BRICS is a political club of nations that share their discontent with unipolar world. Russia hoped that this club would also promote a tighter economic cooperation, but it never happened which is sad.
As for Brasil, Russia is all for greater cooperation with it, as with any other nation that is not hostile towards it.

is it true that you get sent to the cyber gulag if you post putin memes

Russia strikes me as crime ridden and scary as balls.
Is this true?
To be more specific, would you feel comfortable walking with your family at night?

I'm considering studying in Russia next year. How would I best go about doing this? Which cities are welcoming to foreign students?

Do you consider Putin as a "regime", or as a "Government".

Also muh democracy meme

UVB-76
tell us it's secrets

I'd say no.
1 room flat in Saint-Petersburg may cost from 1,5 mil rubles for constructing commieblocks, and around 2,5-2,8 in ready commieblocks. Flats close to downtowns are even more costly. Average wages are around 35k-40k in Moscow, 30-35 in Saint-Petersburg and economically developed oblasts, 25k in slightly less developed, 20k on average round the country and from 10k to 15k in poor regions. The leaders are oil-digging-refining regions. Average wages go from 50k and up there, but the cost of living is also higher.
In some problematic economic areas wages do get withold, for what period - varies wildly. But it doesn't get too extreme. Extreme cases of holding out on salaries get a wide mass-media coverage and attention of Kremlin.

Is the good old soviet Russia spirit still alive? Or are you a bit more ... relaxed about things?

What I want to say is ... I like Russia but I don't like baseless dictators. Putin is not one but still many want to be.

What do you think will Russia go to shit when Putin is gone?

Opinion on lebanon ?

Do you want us to lift the sanctions cause Putin said he is ready to lift them

> Kremlin's internal power struggle.

Have you seen any indication of that happening ? If yes can you name some names or groups ?

Test

Isnt it like a crime? Being a communist in these countries because of soviet russia?

I remember russians talking about how western walks around with soviet russian symbols and shit and for them is just as offensive as walking around with a fucking swastika.

They're all in Unicode though

Why you guys sending subs and ships into our waters? as well as planes in our air space? You got your own, Russia get out REEEEEEEEEEE

Is there a Russian equivalent to the new euro far right parties? How are they doing?
Does the government treat its citizens horribly? Is corruption really bad? How much are Russian citizens taxed?
What's the deal with the free land the government is giving out? Is anyone going for it?
Are there nice places to see in Russia? Beautiful places?
Is there a bad drug problem?

Do Rusfags actually like Trump as much as polfags? News tells me so.
Also, why have you not kicked Chechnya out?

That's only in butthurt belt. We have no problem with Soviet symbols. We still have Lenin's mausoleum with his preserved body on Red Square, you know.

youtube.com/watch?v=OlQ6KqTlyfk

Why aren't you in the VDV? Are you too beta?

Opposition is non-existent.
See, to be in opposition in Russia is to be anti-Russia.
Some oppositioners that call themselves liberals, in reality have total intolerance to pluralism and the freedom of expressing views which do not comply with theirs. The second problem with opposition - they can't unite. They are always at each other's throats for whatever reason. Third problem - often when they shout about the corruption, it turns out that they are just as bad or even worse. Fourth problem - they hate their own people and will do anything to get in favor of the globalist elites. All in all, they are clowns incapable of any consolidated action and are not worty of any trust.
I am not mentioning anarchists, anarcho-communists, greenies - their support is non-existent and marginal.
Cont.

You assume that everybody is brainwashed because "Western mass media"

But you don't apply the same logic to yourself. The media in your country is state controlled and is feeding you propaganda and a world view that serves the interests of the Kremlin and not the people.

As for the "approved opposition" that resides in state Duma (parliament), here's a quick rundown:
United Russia - Kremlin's party, led by Dmitry Medvedev, ex pres and current prime minister. Ideology? Non-existant apart from patriotism. All they do is support Kremlin's initiatives and propose laws designed in Kremlin. The policies they promote may vary from liberal, to socialist. But generally they are considered right-centrist (right means liberal in Russian politics). Consistent 40-50% support among the population.
KPRF - communists. May be the only party worth a shit in Russia but they're too in bed with Kremlin in a sense they don't always support Kremlin's law initiatives and often oppose United Russia's but they never criticize Putin. They don't want to struggle for power. The reason behind KPRF's existense is a mystery to me. Consistent 20-25% support among the population.
LDPR - "liberal" "democratic" party. First non-communist party in Russia which is more than 35 years old. Led by a fuhrer type figure Vladimir Zhirinovsky. Basically a one man party. No consistent ideology, a lot of populist slogans. Often support United Russia and Kremlin, sometimes disagrees. Zhirinovsky is famous for being a showman, for giving accurate predictions and for "telling everyone like it is". He ran for pres 3 times or more. Always finished 3rd or 4th. Consistent 8-10% support among the population for this party.
The Just Russia - a splinter party of United Russia which says it all, although more left-leaning. Totally worthless. Not worthy of mention. 5-7% of people support them.

Oh. I see.

But what about soviet russia? I mean, no madmen want this shit again, right?

youtube.com/watch?v=AVRdhg6biN0

Do you have right wing loli squads in Russia?

Nope. I have left all hopes for our football team long ago and not a fan of football anyway.

58% of Russians do and 10% aren't sure, actually.

What do you think of Serbs ?

I an a soberist and drink only on special occasions. Never bought vodka myself so I am not an expert in this sort of thing,

>Ask your answers
why do russians always say this?

Are question and answer the same word in Russian? or is this an ancient copypasta that I'm unaware of.
Here's my question: Do Russians consider themselves white? As in, do they identify as a superior group among all Europeans, or do the russian nationalists only care about Russian people?

Hardly. Maybe in about a century if Russia be spared of any wars in the future.

Finland is viewed as a friendly and rational nation that has close ties to us.
You are brought as an example of pragmatism and good will even when you're forced to join anti-Russian sanctions.
Your country contrasts wildly compared to sprats, Ukies and whatever butthurt nation on our borders.
In general, Russians love you and your country.

What are your thoughts on Ukraine and George Soros?

Native population of Russia. Rightful citizens. Not quite Russians as ethnicity goes. What else?

Why are Russian Jewesses so sexy? The ones I've met have blonde hair and blue eyes, absolute babes they are.

We don't have any blacks except for a few African students, so the concept of "white" has never developed. Aside from some West-inspired neonazis nobody really uses the term "white" in Russia. Yes, nationalists only care about ethnic Russians.

>Some oppositioners that call themselves liberals, in reality have total intolerance to pluralism and the freedom of expressing views which do not comply with theirs.
sounds familiar to what we've got
>The second problem with opposition - they can't unite. They are always at each other's throats for whatever reason.
>Third problem - often when they shout about the corruption, it turns out that they are just as bad or even worse.
>Fourth problem - they hate their own people and will do anything to get in favor of the globalist elites.
controlled opposition?

Sorry, can't really say much.
I know Hamas is your creating and that Russia doesn't consider it a terrorist organisation.
That Israel bombed your country on multiple occasions.
That Russia supports any peaceful resolution.
That is all. Sorry, I wish I was more informed.

Read here:

Very i formative post. +1 four chan zoloto to you, good sir. I remeber some video where drunk zhirinovski shouted to bush to go bomb gruzia together imstead of iraq. As for the commies, i guess the situation will be like here. Its either old people who dont care about ideology and were better of during communism time, so they want it back. Or edgy youngsters who went throught liberal phase but it became too vanilla for them. Also i believe many russians praise commie times because russia was really stronk, and they want to maoe it great again. It is funny to watxh some russian patriotic event where people fly tzarist, communist and demlcratic flags at the same ti e

Putin memes? Ugh... I don't think so.
But now that you've brought it, I do notice a sudden drop in Putin memes in runet. Could it be...?

What I know for certain that you can be sent t cyber gulag if you post CP, suicide instructions, radical stuff or a stuff insulting to a large group of people.

what can you tell me about zhirinovsky?

>Is this true?
See, I live in Saint-Petersburg. It's quite safe.
So my answer to
>To be more specific, would you feel comfortable walking with your family at night?
We do walk at night and don't feel threatened at all,

However Russia is a very diverse place. In poorer regions I believe crime is a problem. It's not as bad as the West paints it, but not as good as it could have been. Stats say it all. All of those crime rates mostly to poverty and alcohol consumption.

Why does Putin is trying to gain control over South America (Examples: Venezuela oil is controled by Russia, international diplomacy of Brazil is focus on Russia and now Argentina oil and gas is also developed by Russia with tecnology from Moscow) I don't get it, if America never was interested by the oil here why does Putin care?

Moscow, Saint-Petersburg and maybe other large cities as well. How would you go about studying? Dunno. You better ask exchange students who have been ro Russia already.

Only braindead liberashkas call it a regime.
Of course it's a government. The majority of Russians chose Putin willingly. So it's a democracy, but a sovereign one which a common westerner may not as easily understand.

Uh.. what now?

dude, Russia last country where Communism can be reborn, people gorged on that shit enough ... fact that the some people want a strong power, some in the West is taken as revival of communism, but this is a mistake.

Ultimately why do you think the West hates Russia?

And your thoughts on China? There seems to be a Russia/China alliance.

>Is the good old soviet Russia spirit still alive?
No. Soviet Union is gone. Some of it's legacy still lives in various forms, but everything has changed very drastically over the decades.

>What do you think will Russia go to shit when Putin is gone?
I don't think it will definately go to shit.
But this uncertainity is still unsettling.

>Do you want us to lift the sanctions
Of course we do. Our agricultural business don't however and I do understand them.
But Russians will never bow, plead or even ask for it.

Who is the real God-Emperor OP, Trump or Putin?

Good to hear. Thank you ally.

There's little indication. But it's the tiny details.
From recent:
Putin has created his personal army - the RosGuard and has set his closest friend as it's head.
General knowledge is that there are two groups:
Siloviki or hawks. Ex KGB/FSB/Army servicemen which are all for more involvement of government in economy and internal affairs.
And liveral economists or Saint-Petersburg economic scholars. They lean towards liberal policies, cutting welfare and army spending and integration of Russia into the global economy.

You never complained during the Cold War.
Russia simply tries to reconfirm it's status of a great power and to test your warning/response systems.

>Do Rusfags actually like Trump as much as polfags?
Russians don't give a shit who's going to be the next POTUS. It's simply not our concern. I doubt there is still a people naive enough to think that US policy towards Russia depends on current talking head in White House.
>News tells me so.
They're lying. Even our state-owned TV channel is neutral on that matter.
>Also, why have you not kicked Chechnya out?
Because Chechnya was de-facto independent in 1996-1999. It doesn't ended wery well, because wretched hive of gangsters and terrorists was spreading radical islamism and crime to Dagestan, Ingushetia and other Kavkaz regions, culminating on their direct armed invasion in Dagestan, which caused Second Chechen War. And Chechnya now is not a problem - it's all quiet there, contrary to Dagestan and Ingushetia.

>Finland friendly nation
potentially neutral harmless natives near the borders.

>Is there a Russian equivalent to the new euro far right parties
No.
There were some anti-immigration movements but they were outlawed as extremist. Doesn't have anything to do with immigration policies by itself, but rather with maintaining internal ethnic stability.
The immigration problem largely solved itself with recent economic recession and stricter immigration control.

may we make Putin the President of the United States?

will ethinc russian be outbred by muslims like in the west ?

>Does the government treat its citizens horribly?
In some cases it does, but government in general tries to improve things.
>Is corruption really bad?
Way better than it was in the 90's or early 2000's.
>How much are Russian citizens taxed?
Russian citizens aren't really taxed. It's their employer which affects salaries. There were some direct taxes introduced recently, but it's nowhere near as bad as in some European countries.
>What's the deal with the free land the government is giving out? Is anyone going for it?
Dunno. It's a lame attempt at improving economic development of Far East.
>Are there nice places to see in Russia? Beautiful places?
Many. Google it.
>Is there a bad drug problem?
Yes. We are close to Afganistan and thanks to our friends at NATO and the US, the drug production there has increased since 2001 many fold.

Russians like strong leaders. Trump is as close as you can get to a strong leader the West has to offer.
Also he's all for improving Russia-US relations so go figure.
>Also, why have you not kicked Chechnya out?
Because in this case it'll become a lawless islamist hellhole and a pain in the ass for Russia bigger than it is now,

Kek when did that bald fucker went ginger? One more proof they dont have souls

I am fit for service only at war times.

Are Estonian-Russians considered "false" Russians? Especially if they pledge soldier's oath to protect Estonia in case of war with Russian Federation?

The oath is involuntary since it's compulsary by the law.

>But you don't apply the same logic to yourself
Wrong,
Russians know too good what brainwashing is like.
Also we have free access to Western media and even have a site that translates articles.
inosmi.ru
Surprise - it's state funded.
See, the thing is why Russian propaganda is so effective is because in the recent decades the truth is more often on Russia's side. We only need to read BS your media spouts to become anti-West pro-Russia.
