I like the whole groove of it, but if your trying to do something that won't seem to be sorta tongue and cheek humor then I'd mess with reverb and echo and such on the vocal mixing.
The new album, "Orbiter", is out NOW! Thank you so much for listening.
Good stuff:
Isaac Bennett
Heyyy... that's pretty good. I like the muddy distorted vocals and drums over the clean sounding synths. Adds a strange sort of depth to the sound, I really like it.
Brandon Myers
did not know he worked with strings. i say the comparison might be stars of the lid and geogaddi interludes
Thanks for giving it a listen guys, was aiming for something different on this one. There's a few things I might change in the final version, but this is it so far.
I dig this, I love the post punk aesthetic with the chime like synth melody. The change at 1:02 is fucking unreal man, takes the song to an entire new level. Ending is nice too, I like the abruptness and then swelling synths. Awesome stuff
Asher Phillips
hehe I love the clipping vocal interlude with no context. I'm not typically a fan of noise music, but honestly I found myself enjoying this a lot
Robert Long
I really do not see myself finishing this, so if there is any reason that any of you want to use it, go ahead, use it how you like
Hey guys, Stonerthony Rocktano here. Today we are going to be checking out the instrumental track "Beneath The Dunes." by Lord Addeman. The track has these heavy chuging guitars along side these absolutly mad drums, This track has this middle eight, of sorts, where it slows down near the middle, and then ramps up again with a new main melody. I feel that this middle section does a really great job at pulling together this track. I dig it.
Hey guys, Newthony Wavetano here. Let's look at this track "Wilderspace." by Sakarius. This track seems to take influence from synthpop and new wave. It has that early eighties style synth and bass, as well as those squishy sounding drums along side the shakers and all that. It adds a little bit more ambiance then you would expect from a track like this, that is too say, more ambiance then other new wave / eighties heat tracks. It's a chill and tame track. Like a lounge song in synth format.
Left a comment on your soundcloud, but I gotta rec it here publicly. This is really well done, mixing is tight, and the chord progression is fresh and very thematic to the desert feel. Looking forward to hearing more stuff from ya
Our latest song, currently working on debut album. We're trying to experiment with a lot of stuff. Any feedback is highly appreciated!
>Indie-Pop >Alternative Rock >Female Vox
some really gud reccs
Lincoln Bennett
This is some really good stuff man sounds great. 80's influence in music is really hot right now. I would say capitalize on it. Any tips on using sounds like these in my music? Plug-in reccs if you have any?
Parker Jackson
loomer is the new Compton-based electronic/plunderphonics project. NO VSTS ALL SAMPLES.. Here are the first two songs:
So I made a movie thing, it's like an amateur Fantasia mixed with the soundtrack to Tetris (8-bit classical, mine's more freewheelin and psychedelic though).
I know it comes off bribey, but I will definitely reciprocate any feedback I get on the movie (on the actual video, not just a reply here). It'll at least be honest though, no placating.
>acoustic folky with a pinch of emo >kind of sad but also kind of happy >songs about getting over yourself and your bad decisions more or less >also about getting drunk and doing the opposite of that
Will return all feedback on sc and will do my best to provide feedback
I uploaded a three-track mini album just now, different from what I usually like to make. I was hoping it will rekindle my passion for making music, as I honestly believed my previous album would be my first and last.
Jaxson Morris
Only have 3 tracks but 2 are kind of a progressive house sound and the other a lo fi track.
The rhythm feels a little loose, maybe just a little more on the grid could help glue it together? Really like the vocals.
I'd really recommend cutting literally all of the Piano Roll / MIDI sequences, it feels cheap in those areas. Especially because the abstract animation is so strong. If you made something shorter that was 100% animation, I think it could really do well.
