I'm really trying to get more into hip hop. It's a little difficult for me to expand on, but from what I like I love. What I've found is that I like very, very aggressive styles and what's most important to me rather than flows or the rapper themself is really good instrumentals/beats.
What I like, or are my favorites: >Death Grips >Danny Brown >Run the Jewels
Any artists or projects similar that you'd recommend?
Bonus points for >rock or punk elements/influence >lyrics you find profound >experimental

I'm gonna be going through some of the albums I haven't touched on here. You should try the same journey. It's fun.

Didn't expect this many responses so fast. Listening to Ho99o9 and I already like what I hear. Definitely going to give all these a try.
I do like MF Doom and Tyler (especially love Flower Boy), but I'll likely revisit them. Only listened to most of a Jpegmafia's Veteran a little bit, but I think it deserves more listening.

(3/3) Out of all the ones on the chart if I were to give specific recommendations:
Public Enemy (has Danny's agressiveness/energy) Cypress Hill (huge influence on Danny, one of them was featured on A.E.) Jedi Mind Tricks and Gravediggaz (depends on how well you can put up with Horrorcore lyrics) Maybe Earl Sweatshirt?
BROCKHAMPTON - Saturation 1+2 (especially 2) DMX - It's Dark & Hell Is Hot Beastie Boys - Licensed To Ill+ Paul's Boutique Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly Eminem - The Marshall Mathers LP Kanye West - Yeezus Injury Reserve - Floss Three 6 Mafia - Da Unbreakables Waka Flocka Flame - Flockaveli Schoolboy Q - Oxymoron + Blank Face
Bentley Parker
Check out Cannibal Ox, Busdriver and Deltron 3030 if you haven't yet. I also really like Ka, but he's pretty much the opposite of aggressive, instead softly rapping over a very slow tempo but the dense instrumentation/production and space between notes cultivates a very oppressive sound, something I don't hear a lot in the genre.
