Adams, Richter, Poly...

solid taste

Don't know many contemporary masters, but here's what I've been working on

richter is a sadboy

The most I listen to Chopin the less I really look to him for inspiration when it comes to composing. Not that he's bad, but it's just not what I want, same thing with Liszt. Outside of the virtuosity needed to play some of his pieces, I'd like to reflect in my writing, there isn't much in how he actually writes that I retain much from in terms of influence.

found this gem looking at Masterworks of the New Era on Amazon, one of the guys had a website where all of his published pieces can be played.

>musician turns page loudly
stopped listening there

I forget the label, I'll look it up. But they have like archival live releases of pieces and some I turn off because the audience is to distracting. Like to the point you can barley hear the piece.

Good taste but just remove Richter and Poly.
