personally i'm not surprised that this is what it sounds like, not sure it's up there in terms of quality though compared to their previous work

arent they nazis?

guitarist has a death in june tattoo he got when he was 17. said in a few interviews he didn't know about the group's views at the time of getting it iirc

i hate attractive people. why is he so sexy

why is elias always so damp

who fucking cares?

t. far-left progressive.

I like it. I would like an album announcement, though I am sure that is coming with the tour scheduled. I would imagine sometime in April, given when the tour starts and the regular publicity push it will probably get. I am sure it will be a good album, but I feel like given what they have done thus far, the steps in their growth are going to be smaller and further between. They completely redid their sound for about 3 albums now, each quite different from the other. I think their pace and experimentation will slow a bit. We're probably entering into pt. II of their career. Kind of like when Nick Cave began to give up the heavy post-punk of his earliest albums and began to become more refined beginning with Your Funeral My Trial.

>Inb4 a new flood of Kanye and death grips listening fantanofags and tumblr girls are going to listen to iceage as soon as melon reviews the upcoming track/album
Decent song though

>mfw they're not playing in my country
fuck i could get flights for cheap but i have exams soon after too i'm torn

Bumping

I like it better than Plowing after first listen desu.

yeah, he liked di6 so much that he got a tattoo, but he didn't know about dougs views

>multiple members use overt homoerotic imagery in this band and other projects
>drummer is jew
>nazis

Cmon now

i'm just saying that he, of course, knew about the political views of douglas p
doesn't mean that he agrees with him

Having seen them twice, both during You're Nothing and Plowing, the energy of the live show has seriously decreased. That's not to say they are not worth seeing, but if You want to see them perform the songs, they're worth seeing. If you want something super visceral and violent, and cathartic, skip it, that era has passed.

what are some modern punk bands that give the same violent aura that iceage gave during the first 2 albums and the live shows around that time?

Good track
Love these boys

When I saw them touring behind Plowing it was pretty violent

It didn't compare to You're Nothing. It was leagues away. Still very much enjoyed it though.

There are none that I really know. Generally the bands on Youth Attack have always kind of been like that. HOAX especially, but I don't know if they're still active.

Youth Attack is a really cool label though. They but out the weirdest most super limited merchandise for their bands. One thing I remember was like this "nightmare pillow" that had an mp3 player hooked up to a speaker inside of it, that would randomly play this lo-fi black metal band's album at maximum volume at random intervals. You were supposed to sleep with it to wake up in the middle of the night with your ear drums fucked by treblely noise.

that's the label of cult ritual and raw nerve and stuff yeah? thanks, I should explore more of their releases

Have the song on repeat. It is really good. It kind of has them tread onto this blues type terrain which I like a lot. I didn't really vibe with their country influenced phase so this is kind of breathe of fresh air to me.

Yeah, those bands were on that label, but even then it's more hardcore than it is punk. Iceage was the first really refreshing punk band in the last like 20 years.

nice track

ps elias is woke on the jq

guarantee this band will dominate Sup Forums in 2018 for political reasons

in english please?

huge iceage fan
PITFOL is one of my fave albums
but i gotta say, this song is disappointing as fuck,
they just sound like a tonne of other bland alt-indie bands now
same shit happened with holograms
i mean compare this track to anything off This world is not enough
really hoping this is a weaker track off the album

singles and post punk bands usually don't go together unless you're the cure or talking heads

or joy division or bauhaus or the fall .........

i dunno, oughts singles have all been pretty great imo

not a single good single from any of them

Love it.

bizarre post

Why don’t you link the fucking track?

Haram

how retarded are you
