>acoustic folky with a pinch of emo >kind of sad but also kind of happy >songs about getting over yourself and your bad decisions more or less >also about getting drunk and doing the opposite of that
Will return all feedback on sc and will do my best to provide feedback
Made like an 8-bit fantasia sort of thing, hope you guys check it out! It's long, but you can skip to the best sections in the description if you just want the goods!
I know it comes off bribey, but I will definitely reciprocate any feedback I get on the movie (on the actual video, not just a reply here). It'll at least be honest though, no placating.
I like this, good sense of of melody. Would listen to an album of songs like this pretty legit
here\s my new album hurleyjacoba.bandcamp.com/album/garage-door >indie >folk rock >singer-songwriter it's like 1/3 amateur avant garde, 1/3 folk ballads and 1/3 "i wanna be velvet underground"
>I don't really know my main theme. Nostalgia, I guess? >Lo-fi-ish, rhythms relying a lot on percussion's pace >Return all feedback indeed

railwaay here again. too dumb to post the reccs
this was kind of unenjoyable to me. you gave too much attention to the vocals overall, not giving space to percs or melody. also, the voice, to me, was overworked--you could try giving it the same atmosphere but building the song around you, not entirely of you.
way groovy, keep working on it man. it's more original than trash sc rappers nowadays. left a like, and work in your entrance to make it more fluid :)
i thought it could've worked better with a darker melody. though, i like the percussion way too much. your style is saved to me. followed you :)
I'm currently finalizing my EP that I will release this year with strong promo & a video, we'll see if this song will be on it or not. Excited to post here after a long, long break!

There's a lot of emotion behind your voice and I really like that. The way you strain your voice and fall in and out of tune reminds me of Beat Happening. Also did you write the song? The lyrics are awesome. Particularly this verse: You’re feeling real disfigured Separating out not inward Your sleeves are always longer than your arms
I just made a beat from the piano on the new Kendrick track "Black Panther." I absolutely love the instrumental in that track but really didn't care for how kendrick tweaked it. I remade the keys instead of sampling directly. Let me know what you think, I might write some bars for it soon.
really dig your experimentation and use of sampling. dig the tonal shifts throughout all of them. Heavy Rec.
on its own it's alright, but i'm sure i'd respond to it better if someone was rapping over it.
this is a lot of fun and you tell from listening, which is always a good trait for most music to have. heavy rec.
Shrill Tones is great.
i'd say work on your singing and straightening your voice. the music is nice and simple and towards the end gets interesting, but yeah. you sometimes sound like the dude from Interpol and that's neato.
