About polls: the more I run the numbers the more noticeable it become how many problems both the individual polls but also the RCP average methodology have.
It is too much to be simply laziness or incompetence. It must be deliberate, both to influence the voters and to capture the mind share and the audience.
The following "tricks" in the RCP average poll (but not exclusively there) often posted here were fixed (without any changes in the underlying data):
The "tricks":
> Reducing the Y axis range to make any downward movement to look like an approach to zero.
> Compressing the X axis to make any movement to look much more "steep"
> Omitting the actual data points and posting only the interpretation of the data
> Not representing the error margins that, in polls like these, are at best 3%. That potentially can change the actual difference between candidates in as much as 6% (to either side).
Pic related is a chart with the same data that RCP uses, containing:
> a proper Y axis
> a decent sized X axis (twice as wide as the Y axis)
> both the RCP average and all the individual polls
> the representation of the potential error margin in the poll data points
There is another problem with the RCP Average (also present in other poll aggregators) that will be the subject of a subsequent post.
I'm getting scared guys, it's not the polls that worry me it's that the GOP isn't uniting under Trump. As much as I hated Boehner Paul Ryan has proven himself to be an even bigger piece of shit who's trying to undermine Trump at every step.
If Trump can't get the Party under order the Democrats are make a sweep and it'll be game fucking over for this country.

I agree with that with regards to the poll aggregators but there are problems in the polls themselves (push poll with leading questions, under and over sampling) that are clearly to influence and misrepresent results.
Trump himself mentioned in some rallies how he, misled by polls that put him behind in Florida, favoured campaigning in Florida in the last days in detriment of Ohio and ended up losing Ohio because of that (although he won Florida very easily).

One thing people never talk about is Hillary's poll numbers. Yes, Trump is obviously falling on the RCP aggregate but there is not a trend of Clinton surging nationwide.
This spells doom for her campaign. She DROPPED since clinching the nomination on the CNN poll. I say it spells "doom" because most of this was Trump falling out of favor with the Republican voters and independents. If Clinton isn't going to surge soon, Trump could very well just bury her after the convention when he gets his bump.
Besides, tying in Pennsylvania and Ohio isn't good for a Democrat. Surprised by the Florida number though, but something tells me it's just sensationalism. Florida is unpredictable.

Idk if thats possible but if you can take account of the number of samples you will see that the more sample in the poll the more it gets in favour of trump. The gravis poll (+2) had 2200 samples when the hillary favour polls are 800 samples.
