lorde gets it. i've always thought it was dumb to mix for top of the line studio monitors, when quite literally 99% of listeners will be listening to the digital release on headphones. it's not that much work to just adjust the master eq for different formats.
mixing for shitty apple iems probably is going too far though.

I just use apple earbuds when I'm out and about, and my open back Sennheiser hd598's at home. You really don't need good headphones when you're out of the house in my opinion
