Tokyo
BIG
Literally the biggest city in the world
Nice work japs
Seeing the city from Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building's panorama observation decks made me realize how unbelievably large the city is. 7 times the population of Finland, christ.
I didn't realize the population of Tokyo until I googled it holy fuck.
its more than my country's
North Tokyo is depressing, and north east Tokyo is even more depressing. But overall it's a beautiful city, I'm in love with it.

38,000,000 > 36,000,000
Why?
Why what?
Tokyo was a flea market of borrowed gods and foreign peoples,
a bargain basement on two floors, earth and heaven, a mass of filth convoluted in a triple knot as in an intestinal obstruction.
English teachers, Koreans, Thais, Filipinos, Jomon, heavy wheels without spokes, eyes sunk in fat, sodomy, double chins, illiterate emperors, fish fed on the flesh of learned Hikkis.
There were more people in the world than there have ever been since, all crammed into the Shibuya Crosswalk, and all wretched.
Agreed most big cities seen depressing to me to begin with, but Tokyo is taking it to another level

When was the last time you saw another living human? A decade ago?
Why is north/north-east tokyo depressing?
To begin with, it feels old and decayed. There's nothing interesting around there. It's ugly, nothing like the modern or traditional Tokyo. It's just ugly, rusted, boring and old.
hesa
We have volcanoes near the city too

Imagine living in a city that big and knowing 100% of the people are of your ethnic background.
Asians are the most lucky motherfuckers on earth.
>Geography of Japan
Terrain: mostly rugged and mountainous, can easily be compared to Norway, both having about 70% of their land in the mountains.

How the hell can you live in a place this packed? Won't you feel like Sardines?
There are a lot of cultural stereotypes in Japan about Saitama prefecture. It's where people end up when they can't afford to live closer to the bay; it's full of dangerous foreigners like Brazilians and Iranians; it's difficult to navigate and has bad public transportation; it's dusty because the winds from the ocean don't reach that far inland; it's too hot in the summer; etc.
Fucking hell man, here our metro has limits on how much can enter.
Chiba Prefecture is up to 32 minutes, then Tokyo Metropolitan.
And the urban area of Tokyo continues for another 40 minutes from the end of the video.
