What are the most polarizing noise albums? Gimme stuff that reworks the genre or had divided reactions

What are the most polarizing noise albums? Gimme stuff that reworks the genre or had divided reactions.

is that grimes in the op

>most polarizing noise albums
pulse demon

>harsh noise
ew

The op pic is Harsh noise too.

>harsh
the cast majority of the album is ambience

if you think that's harsh noise you've got another thing coming

Half, and yes.
It's both things

yeah, she made a noise album as a side project that everyone except Sup Forums overlooked. Why else would she be praised so much here?

it's power electronics

still looking for recs

captain beefheart

the Merzbow/Xiu Xiu album is pretty polarizing

Do you mean the fish album or do they have worthwhile stuff?

Noise is about experiencing it live, i've seen some really crazy shows in random basements and have come close to getting injured.

Noise isn't for hipsters sitting at home acting smug because you're too cool for pop music.

ur making fun of people who gatekeep while gatekeeping at the same time lol

I mean the fish album and that they are polarizing
>have come close to getting injured.
wot

Id love to get to know people involved with noise and see live shows. Where should I look? I'm in NE Ohio if that helps

>tfw this is 99% of the problem with music in general

Music is not a commodity to be experienced alone

Is it? I always thought it was pretty good, but nothing fantastic
Probably could've benefited from some A Promise vocals

thank you god of music, I was listening to music all wrong up until now

that's retarded. If you dont appreciate listening to it alone where there's no extraneous noise and you can listen on a good sound system at a sensible volume you are just stupid.

In fact listening to recorded music alone is superior because there is more quality recorded music than live music. Live music has entirely incidental qualities making it be heard, it is tied to the present moment of whoever happens to be in the area at the time, which is almost never going to be the very best music. Recorded music could be from any location or time and therefore allows for more consistent quality. Furthermore, recorded music offers sonic possibilities that are literally impossible compared to live music because of post production techniques. Look at Paul Dolden's music, if you actually assembled an orchestra of that size you would go deaf from the volume of it.

basically you are just being an edgy faggot who wants to get hipster points by putting down people for no reason while extolling your own virtue for going to some crap shows. Bragging about almost getting injured is retarded and has nothing to do with music, and I say this as someone who has almost fallen off of buildings while listening to music on acid by myself, cause I don't need a bunch of other retards around me to put myself in danger listening to music.

Have fun sitting at home alone while I get to go out and see my favorite bands with some friends and have a fun time

What’s the album in the op

Why not?

Last Prurient album

okay.

hey just jumping in here to make fun of you for posting this sentence here. choosing a side on "live shows vs. recordings" is a waste of an opinion. no one wants to hear you brag about hanging out with your friends and every reasonable person appreciates live music as well as recordings for their own reasons.

i'd recommend looking into posh isolation and janushoved, nostilevo, ascetic house, etc. labels that were really trendy in like 2014/2015. i personally was very on-board about the soft-synth/power electronics hybrid (very much directly inspired by prurient's focus towards this fusion) up until a certain point, and then so many of the artists got too far in some weird direction i didn't like anymore. too much gay synth not enough crunch, too much romantic themes not even weird pervert themes.

Keep it up bros

>Durr I was practically INJURED at a concert. my opinion matters more than yours
I literally died while Pulse Demon was playing in the background. It's for hipsters, and 2deep4u metalheads
