Magical Mystery Tour is the only correct answer
Are The Beatles worth getting into if I'm interested in psychedelic? I know I probably ought to listen to the major albums just because they're so influential that they're basically a part of the Western canon of music, but is it worth actually getting into their music, or are they just overrated?
I've hardly listened to any psychedelic from that era, I've only really listened to neopsych like Levitation Room and BMSR, and plenty of shoegaze.
But US or UK pressing? the track list is pretty different
They are overrated and not really psychedelic at all, at least not in a good way, they adopted the music styles around them and incorporated it into their standard pop music but they didn't actually belong to these movements they used
They are overrated, and it is worth getting into them. I'd rec just starting with Rubber Soul then going chronologically. Beatles are good intro to psych, so is Cream, Donovan, Santana, and Love. After that go onto early Floyd, Jefferson Airplane, and Moody blues. Then segue into prog like a good boy.
Thanks user, I'll probably do this, except for the prog part.
YOU'VE WOUNDED ME, DELICIOUSLY
Glad you like it.
>referring to anything Beatles as soy
