Am I a moron with shit taste or is this album actually good?

Am I a moron with shit taste or is this album actually good?

you're a pseud

PUMPING BLOOD

I mean. If you´re expecting a metallica album then yes it´s a bad album. But if you´re looking at it like if it wasn´t made by metallica, then yeah It can be a good album.

its at least a 5, probably a 6.

its like reed, lars and james shat on a plate and served to you
I can only imagine the suffering of a metallica fan listening to this

it's not a great album but it's really not as bad as everyone says. Definitely agree with

no. its garbage either way.

I legitimately thought it was a joke the first time I heard it

it's not that bad

this is my favorite album

The View has one of James Hetfield's best vocal performances ever, and it's wasted on "I AM THE TABLE"

I legitimately enjoy some of the tracks on this album. I remember enjoying Dragon and Junior Dad. There's some good stuff there buried under some shit.

It definitely doesn't deserve the extreme hate it gets. The pitchfork score is a fucking joke. Fantano gave probably the most fair review of it.

its ugly and distrubing like the acts it describes, so in a sense it acheives its goal.

I eman fucking distrubing and gross and hard to listen to.

So i guess its art. But just looking at the album cover makes me disgusted.

I don't think it's amazing, but I don't think it's as bad as people say. Probably 7

the spoken word is p neat
Junior Dad hits very close to home and has a beautiful backing ambience

It had potential to be a fantastic Lou Reed album but he decided to get metallica to play for him which was a mistake.

the intros are much stronger than the actual songs. Pumping Blood's intro is really neat but then metallica comes in with the buttrock

this album got me out of my shit metal phase and into TVU and all of the people they influenced so i have to hand it to them

[insert obligatory table joke]

Guess I should give it another listen someday. The first and last time I listened to Lulu was right when it was released and one music magazine had a free streaming. I had already read some pretty scathing reviews, but I tried to go in with an open mind, though with the twist that whenever a song started to piss me off, I could hit the 'next' button.
Took me less than 30 minutes to go through the damn thing.

No because in order to have good taste you have to enjoy at least one album that recieves widespread hate

>essential
80s Metallica
>interesting
LULU
> pleb fm tier
Black album
>turbopleb fanboy ignorant
all the rest

Am I a moron with shit taste or is this album actually good?
