KYS THE BOTH OF YOU!

i'm not two people. btw here's another shit-tier band
these guys are put on a pedestal
...
This guy makes me really fucking sick.
...
>ITT: Popular bands with great songs/following I don't like.
...
(You)
come back when you are over 18
I agree with everything else ITT except
don't you get tired of seeing this guy put up on a pedestal?
not at all
So you're projecting your prepubescence on me but at the same time agreeing with 80% of what I have to say? Try to tone down the autism a bit because you make no sense.
Don't worry Op, we all hate our dads at some point
...
lol. This is the one musical related opinion that automatically brands you with a pleb sign. No exceptions.
...
...
lol these cunts
i can go all day with this
These are mostly good
These are mostly bad
Yeah, literally only praised because he's dead and black. Didn't innovate or do anything new. Surpassed greatly in songwriting by many other artists/bands of his time, and was a terrible sloppy guitar player.
>plays american anthem with distortion
>woah dude it's like vietnam and stuff, this is ART
EXACTLY my thoughts! Finally someone intelligent in here
Hendrix is worshipped because it's literally a meme to do so. In the classic meaning of the word. Most people who worship hendrix haven't heard more than 1 or 2 songs from him but praise him because of the extreme social pressure from other drooling cretins in their proximity.
pretty much this
for what reason? He's literally the best. Pleb.
I don't have enough bait pictures to describe your post
I'm not b8ing though, it's what I genuinely believe and you can't prove me wrong on most of my post.
Can you prove me wrong that he wasn't original? No
Can you prove me wrong that he was a sloppy guitar player? No
You can only argue that his songwriting was exceptional(Which it wasn't but it's the only subjective thing you can argue on)
Sabbath made like the 4 best metal albums ever before anyone else really attempted the genre. They could not have been more ahead of their time.
...
Not to mention these edgy fags and their even edgier fanbase
I never understood sabbath haters
they are like one of the coolest bands ever, how can you hate on them
Nice meme, most of those early albums are 90% boring blues rock with the rare ocassional heavy riff. Not to mention ozzy's terrible vocals
...
This
correct
Wrong
That's the best classic rock band desu
Punk sucks so fucking bad
Fuck it, I'm bitting
When everything was sounding like the beatles and most people where using raw amp distortion from their amps, hendrix comes out with this
youtube.com
You could argue that he was "sloppy" but I'm only taking that from another guitarrist, and by the way, I play guitar, and amongst all guitar communities everyone will tell you about hendrix's style being unique and distinctive, on top of his tone.
On top of that, we have his mastery over an instrument, without taking lessons.

Take a closer look to the cover of Sgt Peppers, the album had came out just a few days ago, and Hendrix and his band practiced for just a few hours, in the lockers of the very same building before the performance.
You can still be the ultimate contrarian and UGH I HATE DADROCK AND MY DAD, but you can't deny hendrix was way ahead of his time
Alice In Chains after DuVall took over
That dude has never made any good songs with the band. He has not and will not ever come close to Staley. They should’ve just broke up after Staley overdosed. Or made a band by themselves. I’d rather have the latter than DuVall.
Nah
>The fact that...
I'm a DG fan and this is true.
Yes
Yes
Yes
>This guy makes me really fucking sick.
Why?
Eh, I guess.
Yes
Not really.
But of course, PF is my fav band but people talk about DSotM and The Wall like they're albums made by Gods.
kek
Legit good post, thanks for the insight
Just because most people were using raw amp distortion doesn't mean jimi was the only one using pedals. There were several lesser known guitarists that were using pedal distortion in their music years before, therefore he is not ahead or original in his usage of it.
I play guitar as well, and most guitar "communities" are ignorant sloppy dad rock worshippers. It tells me so much about you that you actually hang around these "communities". But I agree that hendrix's style was distinct in some ways.
He was not a master over his instrument by any margin. He's like a little baby compared to any jazz or jazz fusion guitarist of the time, and his attempts at blues are particurarly unemotive.
Sounds like you're too stupid to hear why Black Sabbath was innovative.
the most correct answer
>MASTERY OVER THE INSTRUMENT
>barely manages to learn a basic rock song in the span of TWO HOURS
Based Grugposter.
Yes but most people hating on it are just as bad as its fans
Tms and Exm are but most of the people only listen to these because of fantano and the memes, and the rest of their discography is actually good
Only gets hate because "dadrock sucks!!!" but a lot of their hits are pretty bad. But they have some pretty god tier songs
Same as led zeppelin except they're much better
Gets hate because the shirt is really popular, nobody actually says they're good
Same as misfits but joy division is good
Amazing band, le wrong generation-tier fans
I like Hell Awaits, but the rest of their discography is really fucking generic. Deserves all the hate it gets.
All of these are fucking terrible
I don't like his music too much but I can't deny he's one of the best guitarists of all time
Not overrated, extremely innovative and high quality music of their first 2 albums.
Eric clapton was a better guitarist and so much more innovative than hendrix, no one before him mixed country blues and rock n roll like that, you're fucking clueless
>Mixing 2 shit genres and a okay genre makes you a good guitarist
You're a troglodyte if you think a genre is inherently shit
>no one before him mixed country blues and rock n roll like that
except for pretty much almost every 1940s-50s black blues musician, and boogie guitarists like hardrock gunter. talk about being clueless.
THIS, NORMY POP-TRASH
