I dont understand why everyone is saying this. Because it makes no sense. Every single PL club can now say, with absolute certainty and safety, "we are not selling any players we want to keep after this day". Because it's the club who decides, not the player.
So yeah, if a club wants to get rid of some no hope shitter, they can still sell him. But as for any actual first team players, they can just day "if you're not gone by this day, you're not going" and that's that.
