Kanye West is the greatest Gospel artist of our generation.
OP here again. Just wanted to say that any genre is welcome, of course. Thanks for all the replies by the way.
Personally, I'd love to explore Gospel, Soul, Jazz, and Classical that is Christian influenced. I've been mostly stuck with Christian Indie Folk like Sufjan Stevens, Even Oxen, and Little Kid or Christian Metal like Extol, Believer, Trouble, and Theocracy.
Christian """"""Rock"""""" music is typically hot garbage desu, but there's still a considerable amount of good Christian music out there to be found. It just takes more effort.
I'm not big on Relient K or Skillet honestly, but I'll give these a shot though.
I haven't listened to that one, but I've listened to their debut quite a bit. The debut is incredible.

Yeah, Trouble is great. I'm still relatively new to metal, but I've heard of Candlemass. I'll check them out.

Oh, hi, Brandon. What's your favorite album from them? Are you a "They're Only Chasing Safety" kind of guy?
Yeah, this is a classic.
Just don't think lewd thoughts.
Spoonfeed me, plz ;_;
We sing this in Chruch all the time:

My personal Top 10 Christian songs (limited to one per artist) in no order:
>Dave Bixby - I Have Seen Him
>Rich Mullins - Hard to Get (Demo)
>The Edwin Hawkins Singers - Oh Happy Day
>John McCormack - Nearer My God to Thee
>Bob Dylan - Every Grain of Sand (Demo)
>Mahalia Jackson - His Eye is on the Sparrow
>Simon Finn - Jerusalem
>Rev. Gary Davis - Samson & Delilah
>Fisk Jubilee Singers - Swing Low, Sweet Chariot
>The Velvet Underground - I'm Set Free (Closet Mix)
This is technically Christian music

SHOWBREAD
I can't think of anything specific, I just listen to a bunch of classical masses.
Don't know if this was posted already but it's my favorite composition from the medieval era, not only Christian but in general.

christians still exist?
didnt know they could afford internet in trailer parks
you're right, they hardly exist
that's why the world is complete shit right now

this is amazing and it's all on youtube
I unironically love this album, sometimes considered to be the first Christian rock record
this. most people can't conduct themselves without religion
Good evening, my brothers.
yeah that why america has so few problems, jeebus keeps us all good
Hi ya! I hope you're having a great day!
the problem with America is that they are not really Christians. First most of young Americans are super intelligent atheists, second true Christianity is about living without profane possession, and that's something Americans are very very bad at
Protestanism isn't christianity.
anyone who believes in Jesus is christian
It's the few righteous that save the entire nation, we should be thankful God looks upon us at an individual level.
Thank you user! God bless!
muslims believe in jesus
They don't believe in Jesus Christ as analogous to God though.
> 55 "Yet you have not known Him, but I know Him. And if I say,`I do not know Him,' I shall be a liar like you; but I do know Him and keep His word.
>"Your father Abraham rejoiced to see My day, and he saw it and was glad."
>Then the Jews said to Him, "You are not yet fifty years old, and have You seen Abraham?"
>Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM."
>Then they took up stones to throw at Him; but Jesus hid Himself and went out of the temple, going through the midst of them, and so passed by.
(John 8:55-59 NKJ)
Messianic Muslims are virtually non-existent. You know what he means.

Here's a resource as well, if you're into it.
I like Michigan more, but I feel like this is Sufjan's most Christian album
While I'm not Christian myself, i feel like i can still appreciate the religion and music that it inspires

What an awesome idea for a thread. Have you heard of Little Kid OP?
Sun Milk was p much my AOTY for 2017 littlekid.bandcamp.com
What have you been listening to lately?
Patrician. Thanks for this gem brother
Enjoy your (You) Friendeux
>tfw you will never have this on vinyl
Feels good actually, so cool to see how rare this album really is
Too bad the biggest shitholes on earth are all the religious countries
I listening to everything, thanks man
This is a p interesting find. Apparently it's a piece intentionally written for communion? Remarkable, might just consider putting this on the background next time the chance arrives (i especially love the high notes of that organ)
Have you heard of vladimir martynov?

The dude writes some incredible pieces for all sorts of occasions but Kronos Quartet's cover of the originally (mostly) acapella the Beatitudes was my introduction to his music

I came here to see if anyone was going to lewd the girl in the OP's pic, but I was thoroughly disappointed.
You guys ever deflowered a Christian girl before? Make her squirt and stop wearing her purity ring? I had that one time. It was weird, but a good weird, like peanut butter/chocolate chip sandwiches.
Flood and Liquid are the only good Jars of Clay songs (which is because of their producer)
But the album Much Afraid is literally perfect ...
I like Norma Jean's first 2 albums

I know anything associated with hair metal is not particularly liked on Sup Forums, but Stryper’s newest album is actually really good.

Found the edgy high-schooler.
I won't be replying to every single post of course, but for all those who posted links, thanks, I like you. :)
Fair enough. In a way, I wish I was interested in the popular Christian Rock acts like Newsboys, Hillsong, or what have you. Sup Forums ruined me and now I feel quite separated from other Christians when it comes to music taste. ;_;
Thanks, user. I'll be giving these a listen.
Neat list, user. I've been meaning to check out Bob Dylan's Christian output even if it's not exactly highly regarded.
Really neat.
And now, good morning. :^)
Very nice to see The Prayer Chain there. Also, this is pretty interesting. Thanks, user.
It's his most explicitly Christian release and for that, I greatly appreciate it, but it's honestly not my favorite of his either. Regardless, it's incredible still.
>Have you heard of Little Kid OP?
Yup, I've only listened to Logic Songs though (which I really liked). I just finished listening to Sun Milk right now. Pretty good. I'll give it some more listens for sure.
>What have you been listening to lately?
Metal, Jazz, Soul/Funk, and Classical. I've been really enjoying Ornette Coleman, Death, Stevie Wonder, and Debussy. Entry-level, I know. I never explored those forms of music as I have (non-Metal) Rock, Electronic, or Hip-Hop/Rap, so I'm just trying out new things. By the way, I just wanted to say that it's awesome to see ya in one of my threads. Arrayed Above the Seraphim Lights was one of my favorite 2016 releases. I was blown away on first listen. I (and a couple of my Christian friends now, because I'm a shill) are big fans for sure. Keep it up. :^)
Much Afraid is top-tier.
Their debut is so good.
