Yeah I was going to post Public Castration, which is louder and more pummeling, but Real Love is much angrier, and even rawer in some respects. You can hear the breathing of the guy who brought in the recording equipment, he sounds afraid. Plus the poor quality makes Coward sound like a recording of an industrial blast furnace with a crazy man screaming into it.

Its tough to put into words but, all "contest of who can be the heaviest" aside, I feel like this, and really a lot of Musique Concrete doesn't really have a lot of weight to it. Sure its challenging and esoteric music for the most part, but much like a lot of more complex jazz, I just don't feel that heavy is a term that really describes it well.

Plenty of musique concrete is fairly sparse and cadential, creating eerie desolate soundscapes. Persepolis sounds like the entire planet being compressed and collapsing under the weight of itself. I wouldn't really compare it to other musique concrete or electroacoustic music outside of maaaaybe Luigi Nono or Wolfgang Mitterer.
