a centrist's wet dream

>hip-hop
no thanks

Without minding the genre, what do you think about the message of the song?

that message at the end gave me existential dread

Probably the most important song of this decade.

Real overgeneralizations on both sides but I think that's the point. I like the idea of a song that focuses on establishing a dialogue rather than enforcing an ideal.

/thread

false equivalence the song

>has a chance for fair legitimate discussion about race that represents both sides equally
>NAH FUCK THAT ALL WHITE PEOPLES IZ RACIST

>implying the message matters when the music is trash
normies disgust me
This is a music board. Music > lyrics.

he just had to ruin it

Only the first half is good

STUDY THE STEVE JOBS

man look at all these fucking racist
you faggots need to go back to your containment board

...

wish the black guy would've had better talking points. it was pretty much factual arguements from whitey and then the emotional impact of being black in america from the black guy

this

>it was pretty much factual arguements from whitey and then the emotional impact of being black in america from the black guy
lmao
imagine unironiclally thinking this

does absolutely nothing for race relations, only makes them worse i'd argue.

on one hand you have the fat redneck racist white guy (this must be how liberals see white people in general) saying generally unwarranted and stupid things (such as that shit about eminem "not being white anymore," jesus christ) on top of the n-word in the midst of some genuinely good advice and points.

on the other hand you have the typical paranoid and racist black man perpetuating conspiracy theories with absolutely no evidence to present, ("systematic racism bullshit," "you crackas ain't slick, this is all a part of your tactics") essentially advocating for racial segregation instead of integration, ("trying to steal black culture and make it your own") perpetuating empirically fascistic propaganda by implying that the "white race" even exists in the first place, and naturally glossing over the fact that black people are much more represented in crime statistics than people of other ethnicities which explains why cops are particularly more alert in black communities. that's not racist, or racialist, that's recognition and taking personal responsibility. i would expect the police to do the same exact thing if white people were a lot more represented in crime statistics than black people, but alas.

the black community is in peril these days because of prevailing victim mentality, single parent households, and having no goals or incentives to advance in life as a result, and this video/song does absolutely nothing but create further tension and perpetuation of the aforementioned. joyner lucas and his producer should be ousted from the creative community for the rest of their lives; i couldn't care less about their ill-realized intentions.

at least it will get normies to listen to the white guy's talking points. they will probably just brush it off as "racism" but at least they will hear it.

+1

how do I breach these talking points to my friends and family without getting either weird looks or them just staring at their phone screens and sighing while I talk

slowly and carefully. it takes time to rid yourself of liberal brainwashing.

>systematic racism is a conspiracy theory with absolutely no evidence
>black people are much more represented in crime statistics than people of other ethnicities
pick one you inbred mongoloid

It's good but it loses it's own affect when both of them drown out their good arguments with racial slurs and Eminem talk. Instead of representing the majority moderates on both sides the fanatics are represented.
Also I feel like the hig at the end just kind of ignores the entire point of the video. They represent two of the biggest conflicting ideologies today so just saying we can "just all hug it out and forget our differences" in not proucutive.

that says absolutely nothing on its own. maybe they should stop committing crimes en masse and work on building productive families instead.

You're obviously confused by what the definition of racism is. Good luck with that.

>building productive families in areas where nothing is produced
Reminder that blacks were hit much harder than whites by moving manufacturing to other countries.

right, because it wasn't them who were committing the crimes, it was some invisible hand. do you realize how fucking stupid you sound?

It was the invisible hand of the market.

Well thankfully it isn't all black people who are affected by that, but a good amount of them for sure. People shouldn't have children if they live in shitholes anyway.

That's awfully vague.

Just an "invisible hand" joke.

so do you think it was their genes that lead them to do it?

no.
more like everything i mentioned here

so systemic racism?

see

so whats your definition of systemic racism then?

This one is better.

i would kill to hear you weigh in on

this is even worse than the previous one

I liked them fuck

WHITEBOY! WHITEBOY!

>Music > lyrics
not true for all genres

>(such as that shit about eminem "not being white anymore," jesus christ)

pretty sure that was a jab at people who said kanye wasn't black anymore and that we could keep him for saying that he would vote Trump

...

The first half is good desu, it tells a lot of hard truths that the black community insists on ignoring.

...

>disagrees
>this makes you a neckbeard
okay soyboy

>soyboy
this makes you a neckbeard

the white guy did have more to say and made much more impactful points than the black guy who made an appeal to emotion and talked about tupac and BBQ

Gob did it better
youtube.com/watch?v=zh_vIlp-300

joyner has a better beat, a better concept and can stay on beat while trying different flows and rhyme schemes, this is trash without even looking into the message

yeah but all the white guys points were true. and all the black guys points can be reduced to:
> I don't really like you white motherfuckers
> all lives matter is disrespectful to my protest
> we can say nigga but you can't
> my grandma was a slave so fuck you
> country is run by whites (its not)
> I gotta sell drugs cause job didn't call me back
> stop emulating my culture and talking / acting like we do (even though it makes me rich and sells my records)
> Tupac was a freedom fighter
> eminem being a cuck was cool cause he was on our side

What's the deal with the milk?

maybe the first rap song that's ever moved me

Listen to this song

And then listen to Original by Unkle Adams and try not to laugh

> country is run by whites (its not)
Who do you think runs America?

Semites

>white guy gives real arguments
>AYO WY YOU RACIST!? IMMA BAD AND POOR CAUSE GOBMIT GIBS ME DAT!

>normies
plebbitors disgust me even more

You know high quality posts like this aren't allowed on Sup Forums. You didn't mention Grimes or K-POP a single time.
