the szekelys were loyal to their community so when the russians and romanians came knocking in transylvania they simply put down their weapon and went home, localpatriotism is cancer

>he's loyal to his state/province/department/county

>He's loyal to his local community or "the nation" instead of the wishes of the dead patriots of centuries past
Explain yourselves

No, it's pan-nationalism and irredentism that are cancer
Transylvania would be one of the more developed ex-Eastern Bloc countries, were it allowed to become independent after WW1

the nation is the extension of the community and the community is the extension of the family

The nation is the extension of the community to a larger more able form.

This works relatively well when the state in question is a nation state comprised of similar people whose communities resemble each other in mannerisms and culture and common tongue.

Irredentism and pan-nationalism atleast make global politics interesting.

I don't speak Mandarin

Why is that lady not getting blacked?

>He's loyal to [arbitrary political subdivision] instead of his class.

that's the most arbitrary political subdivision of all

A division based on material conditions is certainly not in any way arbitrary.

This guy gets it

>he is loyal
