Hey Sup Forums anyone in Melbourne?

hey Sup Forums anyone in Melbourne?
Bored and forever alone here.

I go if you promise not to eat me or rape me

i can't guarantee got bath-salts

I'm down, but I'm probably going to eat and rape the other guy.

lol nah fuck off cunt i aint going back into the city until i start uni again

should be easy enough to promise as I had no such intentions to begin with

Are you a qt girl?

no sorry

I live in Frankston and I'm a registered sex offender. Are you cool with that?
I kinda masturbate in public a lot, and yes I've been arrested in a cinema
Not joking either

>Frankston
You have to go back.

How's the reopened Hoyts in Chaddy?

3030 here

wanna hang out and possibly stroke each other's pee pee while we watch something, bro?

Astor Theatre calendar

How's the cat you kept going on about?
Has anyone ever taken you up on your offer?

If you do this you realise you must post pics of the meetup

Also I'm kind of old. I'm 48.

It's not really a redditt type of town user

Marzipan died
Now they have a big black and white cat

Wait this is what the Astor Theatre shows?
Holy fuck, why am I only finding this out now.

What did you think?

I thought it was just another theatre.
I almost never go into the city due to having no reason to go there.
And no friends to go with.

I don't care if it's a classic cinema - Astor's seats are ridiculously uncomfortable.

Frankston is gentrifying it seems.

If it's anything like the Eastland Hoyts then it's awesome for a chain cinema.

Rather go to Footscray and smash the windows of the only reason to go to Footscray.

>Sunday 15th January
>Lawrence of Arabia
>4K
>The Conformist
Is this the day of the kino?

well so long as you're not the frankistanian I can meet you
The seats are fine what are you talking about?

who /sudandenong/ here

no homo

;_;

I'm moving there on the 21st purely for the movies. I'll be at every ACMI screening, heaps of Astor screenings, and Picture Search in Richmond - see you there!

Want to hang out? I'll come up from Frankston.

OP here, I'm actually going away on the 20th
will be back in February

How much do movie tickets cost in Melbourne?

For sure my dude. Like I said, I'll be spending what little money I have on an annual ACMI pass, so 99 times out of 100 I'll be at a screening.

Also because I'm 3121 I'll plug Picture Search on Swan. Go there before it closes in 3 years.

acmi has song of the sea
acmi.net.au/events/song-sea/#tickets

Cool!
Let's do it

I'll probably start ACMI on Feb 1st (I think) when the Cinematheque 2017 season starts. Anyone know when the calendar comes out?

you should get a Cinematheque membership
melbournecinematheque.org/

Yeah, that's what I meant by annual ACMI pass. My bad. Very keen, seeing last year's calendar.

acmi and cinematheque are two different things

I figured. Coined on a second too late.

I used to love the Astor when I lived in Melb. You guys are very lucky to have a place like that in your city

Very keen for the Astor screenings. A Visitor at a Museum in 35? Wow. Solaris, Stalker, wow, wow.

Anyone know if those box seats are avaliable? I've never checked, can u buy a box seat ticket?

the fuck?
astor theatre does not have box seats

what's your local kinoplex?

>tfw Camberwell kino theatre has the shittiest selection

Anyone want to go to the Astor with me and hang out at the Exchange in Commercial road after?

Yes it does, look up sometime

westgarth palace is right around the corner from me
also oldest operating theatre in melbourne, built in 1920

Rivoli? Better than most places desu

Nova is based af, so is lido

Hoyts at Chadstone is really great.
Saw Rogue One in the LUX seats and would certainly recommend.

kys fgt

sure
it has a balcony that is general admission
they put everyone in there first before opening up the ground floor

Nova on lygon?

Pure kinohouse desu. Good prices too

All the Hoyts are good now, if only they played decent films

nova has a good selection
but fuck some of their theatres are tiny

Huh, never been on the balcony must always show up to late

here

Will maybe see you when they do Young Einstein on Australia day? Failing that 100% Solaris on the 30th.

Yeah got shafted into front row
>in b4 my fault

Still, who has the front row so close you pretty much have to look directly upward?

theres nothing good out at the moment, look at the palace and novas line up, its the dry season

Hoyts vic gardens fitted all of its theatres with reclining leather seats, way better than before

northern suburbs here. who wants to come over and watch death wish on my dads 100 inch LED?
i have weed.

3070 here, where you?

First three?

Didn't know there was some sort of organized aussie Sup Forums community.
That's pretty cool, hope you guys have fun at the movies.

Who /Benteligh/ here?

there isn't

Fuck yeah!
But I'm in Cranny

i was kidding.
maybe some other night.

I wouldn't be surprised, with all the shitposting this board has, if a sizable amount of Sup Forums's posters were Australian

you chicken shit fag

how close are you to thornbury?
How about tomorrow night we meet at the welcome to thornbury foodtruck park, food, drinks, then movies?

I live in Murrumbeena

lonely fucking manic depressive australians making meetup threads. o i am laffin.

>rivoli

JUST

Any Sydney siders wanna meetup?

>hey Sup Forums anyone in Melbourne?

Nah, I'm closer to Newi in NSW.

>Melbourne

kys cunt

Only if you don't live in Minto & plan to use my balls as a windchime

Anyone else in 3163?

anybody planning on going to rooftop? Was thinking of going but seems like a gamble with the weather

Pretty neat, this is just like prince charles cinema in London.

All those FANTASTIC movies holy shit! Theaters here only show recent hollywood movies with some occasional festival films sprinkled in...

The theatre is art deco as well
>the most patrician cinema in Melbourne

...

Seats are uncomfortable af tho
Couldn't sit through a double feature there

Last time I was there they played old ads and trailers before the movie started. Amazing.

Looking forward to seeing Akira

My nigga, planning on seeing it too.
