...

Although i completely agree, i enjoy some of those albums still

I'll take old school Sup Forums that has been stolen by reddit for 1,000.

ebin

>Being so insecure your virtual self-perpetuated forum rivalry dictates musical taste

beta soyboy virgin cuck

>evaluating albums based on fan demographics and not the substantive quality of the music

I hate many albums in your list but yikes

Simply ebin

So... there is no difference between Reddit and Sup Forums?

I thought Reddit was just hair rock and mainstream indie

Some terrible shit music

It's like reddit is the west coast feed of a tv station, by the looks of this chart.

Half of these albums isn't even indie

...

>doesn't include Nirvana, Modest Mouse or MGMT
feg

wow it's almost as if both Sup Forums and r/indieheads allow p4k to dictate their taste

I can absolutely guarantee that any /r/indieheads poster is a Sup Forumstant, they even have a link to Sup Forums in the "related subreddits".
They aren't the embodiment of reddit though, the default /r/music is indeed mostly hair-rock and mainstream indie; the -heads subreddit are usually more in-depth, and the indieheads one is probably the most Sup Forums-like of them.

>The Ascension
>Indie
Unironically show yourself out

None of those 80s albums are indie. Also Rites of Spring,Zen Arcade and Repeater are the only good things there

Now hold up. I hate Defenders of the Faith, it’s really boring save a few songs, but nothing Priest has recorded is reddit-tier. I would think British Steel would be the obvious one, since it’s more overrated(even though it has great songs like Rapid Fire and Steeler). I can agree on the Maiden stuff. I’m not so sure on the Queensryche stuff, I just listened to Mindcrime the other day and it had some really solid songs. Rage for Order had a killer opening but not a whole lot after, the Warning is still their best LP

List of albums off this list that are actually good:
The Wall
illmatic
Number of the Beast

>No radiohead
How convenient. Radioheddit is reddit's favorite band. Sup Forums remains in denial.

>In Rainbows" by Radiohead

wow. thats kinda great.
as if like 2012 Sup Forums move to reddit

All the albums in the indispensable section are great. What’s the issue?

Number of the Beast is massively overrated, with tons of filler. Only around half of the album is actually as great as it’s made out to be. Killers, on the other hand, is literally perfect from start to finish, and it’s one of the busiest, most chaotic albums Maiden ever created, without the singer that everyone claims “elevated them to the next level.” Paul is just as good as Bruce, and he certainly could hit high notes, like on Twilight Zone. Paul had a menacing sneer and attitude, and sounded like a serial killer. When Bruce sings Paul songs, his operatic evil mastermind snarl just makes the song worse. Any performance of Prowler with Bruce behind the mic is inferior to Paul. The only time Bruce did any justice to Paul songs was on the 1981 audition tape, where he actually makes a concerted effort to scream with the same abandon as Paul. Bruce Dickinson is a good singer, but he needs to stay the fuck away from Paul songs unless he plans on doing them justice

>dad rock
>white rap
Yep that's Reddit.

What’s r/indieheads’ opinion on piracy?

since r/music is so incredibly bad r/indieheads is basically non rap music
