Youtuber here - not full-time or anything, but have just over 22k subs. Anyway, YT has gone to shit these past 2 years, especially the last year - and it's because their fucking reporting/copyright system is bullshit.

I did a video a while back talking about Bruce Jenner and I didn't even say anything bad. I just simply, in my own way, stated that he will always biologically be male. And this set motherfuckers off. I suddenly had bullshit copyright claims on a bunch of my videos and my channel got terminated.

Luckily, I'm partnered with a pretty good network and helped me get it sorted out and had all the claims removed and my channel reinstated, but smaller channels, especially un-partnered, don't have these resources.

But, what's that have to do with this situation? Well, the simple fact is, censorship is way too easy on YT. Any joe smoe can file a copyright claim on a video, simply because they disagree and it triggers them, or fucking whatever. And it's bullshit, because the majority of the time it's right-leaning uploaders who this happens to and then they are fucked if they are a smaller channel. Youtube needs to fix their shit ASAP, because right now us who lean more to the right have been dropping like flies due to bogus claims/reports.

Some say that people should be able to live their lives any way they want, and if they aren't hurting anybody, then it's a good thing if they're happy. Now, I understand how romanticizing Gender Dysphoria can be extremely damaging to many people, but what about all the bullshit gender identitties?
