So, this was their best, right? I'm a few albums into their discography, and this is definitely better than Sgt. Pepper's at least.

also, related to this, Paul is definitely the best right? John is pretty good but Paul writes the best songs and actually has a good solo career

this was already discussed a couple days ago

The white album and abbey road are my fav. MMT is third

>this is definitely better than Sgt. Pepper's at least.
kek

>John is pretty good but Paul writes the best songs
Oh did Paul write I Am The Walrus and Strawberry Fields Forever?

no, but i think those songs are really good because of the production and instrumentation, not because of the way they're written. if they were more conventionally produced, i don't think either would have been as good as they are

Listen to the demo versions of those songs. They were already interesting to begin with. The production just adds another dimension to it.

the beatles is music for teenagers imo

So glad that this board is finally taking the MMT pill. Easily the best Beatles album.

For me it's Sgt > MMT > Rest

paul wrote hello goodbye, the worst (read: least amazing) song on the whole thing

Almost certainly

i personally disagree, i think baby you're a rich man is the worst. either that one or penny lane. hello goodbye is pretty enjoyable, albeit lyrically mediocre

Catchy as fuck so its fine
Penny Lane is the best song on the album

Blue Jay Way is the best song and anyone who says otherwise is a goddamn pleb

>either that one or penny lane
ok im actually mad

overall the first side is better than the second. flows better as an album, and has stronger tracks. not to say the second is bad by any means though, all of the songs there are great, just not as good

>overall the first side is better than the second. flows better as an album
g i wonder y

i mean i know why, but the quality is higher for each of the individual songs as well

Not really.
