Through legal means and if they tried through illegal means, fuck them too. We can't just accept everyone when most of the world lives in shitty conditions, our imfrastructure can't handle accepting everybody into our borders because we feel bad or it will just collapse and be in as bad or worse shape than the countries they flee. Logic must come before emotion or we can't possibly hope to survive as functioning states. I'm all for doing what we can to help nations build up their own infrastructure so they can provide for themselves but the idea that every time a nation starts to succeed it has to open it's gates for the entire population of the rest of the world is the most absurd thing I have ever heard.

My grandmother's sister went to Canada with her husband back in the 50s.
Her entire branch of the family generally earns less, have poorer living conditions, and were surprisingly shorter than us for whatever reason. Although, many of them have some sort of College degree despite earning less on average.
Also they don't speak a lick of Danish so they're practically foreigners to us now. I'd say they fucked up.
