No? Just get Spotify on your phone...

do you have a tape collection?

As some one who collects cds no, download them to your phone

I think it might make a comeback in the near future. I'm a digital files/vinyl guy, but I'd totally be down for a copy of Disintegration or Slanted & Enchanted on cassette.

I have a dozen around the house but I want to start a collection of metal tapes. I already ordered a slayer reissued cassete.

The sound from the phone isn't """warm"""

Jesus this is so plebby. I’m old enough that my parents still played cassettes when I was a kid, they were good for portability and durability only and were absolutely superseded by the CD in terms of sound quality. Low quality =/= warmth.

If you record your own music using a 4 track tape recorder a Walkman is good for listening to how your mix/mastering is coming along. Also useful if you have huge catalog of Dead shows on tape.

Whatever you say buddy. I will continue to enjoy unlimited and immediate access to 43million tracks at 320kbps.
