my local team represents a town of 1000 souls and has a great history of success, repeated promotions to higher tiers but has always been held back by obvious financial problems
instead my slightly less local team, from a way bigger city, has a history of disappointments and shortcomings but plays like 4 tiers above
which one is a shittier club to be fan of?

I kind of miss the days of NASL (and its equivalents)
not just because >we actually stood a chance of winning things, but because such a low-profile, barely-professional league always turns out the kind of comedy of errors (in playing, refereeing, facilities, broadcasting) that more serious teams/leagues don't allow to happen
