Sup Forumscore albums you can't get into

Everything after Disarm is just so boring.

>Hospice
>Everything by Nick Cave

How can you even appreciate these?

Not sure if I'd call this Sup Forumscore.

Also, I can understand Soma being a little snoozy, but Geek USA and Mayonaise? Really?

>Soma, Geek USA, Mayonaise, Silverfuck
>Boring
lol what

Came to post this
Even Spaceboy and Luna are kino too

geek usa is one of the best songs on the album.....LISTEN TO IT SOMETIME

At first I was like :-/ then i listened to it a few more times over the next few weeks, and then i was like :-/

>dissing Nick Cave
He's one of the best songwriters of the last 30 years.

How is this any different from other drone albums?

That's the best Pumpkins album though

by not being drone

This but unironically

I'd hate to see the rest of their discography then.

How is [album that isn't a drone album] any different from other drone albums?

Well I'd hate to see your bathroom on father's day

I really try it listen to it, but just fucking can't, any recommendations?

What did he mean by this?

I love the first track and the few after that are good, but I just lose interest halfway through. I've tried about a dozen times but never managed to finish it. Maybe it's too dry idk.

Sonic Youth just sounds like shit to me honestly
My friend that digs them just says that they sounded really great for their time, but he does understand why some people don't like them

It does get kinda repetitive after a while, but the standout tracks are still incredible.

listen to more sonic youth. they're not even that strange. songs from goo and dirty charted, maybe start there if you're more into pop

same

>gish

The Ape of Naples by Coil
Anything Nine Inch Nails
Streetcleaner by Godflesh
I just can't into any of them

Burial - Untrue

Hospice was a sleeper album for me. It took a few months after hearing it to go back to it, but I'm so glad I did. It harmonizes with my general state of mind.

Listen to the birthday party

Listen to the The Moon and Antarctic

There's no saving a taste this bad

Get drunk first, be alone, and have a panic attack or be in a really sad, pity-party mood. If that doesn't work idk. I liked this album a lot a few years ago, but haven't listened to it in a long while now

That's not even their best album.

Just ride the drums on Geek USA and your mind will get blown wide open. Jimmy Chamberlain is a god.

Me too.
Then I cam back a year later and its top 5 all time for me.
