Unpopular opinions

Nick Drake is better than Bob Dylan

Five Leaves Left >>> Pink Moon

SAW 85-92 is not even top 5 of Richards music.

Unpopular opinion: Nick Drake is the greatest folk artist of all time

unpopular opinions...
huh... wait...

The 1975 makes good music

We need more rap/rock crossovers like Jay-Z and Linkin Park.
Jazz is terrible old people music

Yeah, sure

Yeah, sure

They make decent "older sports bar in town that's trying to keep up with the times" music and that's about it

No
There is a lot of old hard bop that hasn't aged well but that's where I would draw the line with your statement

Brostep is decent

I already posted this, but from the looks of it, people do not agree with me at all on it. American Idiot was the last true Punk album, and the logical conclusion to Punk Rock.

Jazz doesn't age.

Back to redfit you fucking cunt.

Thanks for bumping my thread

Gus Dapperton is the voice of our generation

quit shilling your shit everywhere

Frank Zappa is the best musician to come out of 60’s

The Monkees are better songwriters and personalities than the Beatles

70’s LA output > 70’s NY output > 70’s Britain output for anything rock or pop related

Smart men listen to pop
Middlebrow men listen to classical
Dumb men listen to pop

A Crow Looked at Me is by far Phils worst album. Musically, it is bland and uninspired. Lyrically it doesn't compare with some of the profound and unnatural themes and concepts that can be found on his other albums like Dawn, Wind's Poem, as well as Mount Eerie and The Glow pt.2. I understand it's an emotionally honest album, but the context carries it entirely.

itaots is overrated. it's a great album, but not a masterpiece
larks' tongues in aspic is the best king crimson record

>x is better than 売
It's not an unpopular opinion, it's a non-sequitur

It's like saying 2Pac is better than Mozart, a totally valid opinion that is meaningless in a larger context

Boudewijn de groot is better than bob dylan

I didn't know mozart rapped on the side. Both Dylan and Drake are folk artists so its a fair comparison.

Regarding the 1975, I'm not really a fan but they're still pretty big with indie-ish teen kids

>The Monkees are better songwriters than the Beatles
that's not even an opinion dude that's straight up wrong. they didn't write their own shit

Ed Sheeran is better than both nick drake and bob dylan

Better at killing himself, sure

the greenwich scene ruined folk forever

>larks' tongues in aspic is the best king crimson record
But that's absolutely true.

>Elliott Smith> Nick Drake> Bob Dylan

>ill informed opinions

I’m sorry but this is just daft. The two shouldn’t even be compared.

The advancement of computing and audio software has destroyed music.
