we have more than one sport, bud
>fanatical about pathetic kickball """""""sport""""""" for poors
>following a (1) sport
What's the fucking point?
Don't need another sport when you have Football. Because it is the Beautiful Game. It is the game of everything, for it has everything. It is the game of Life and Death. The King of Sports.
>He only follows one (1) sport
How can you even call yourself a sports fan?
>dumb frogposter being a melodramatic pissdrinker
>He identifies himself as a sports fan
>11 minutes actual play time
>x18 = 198
>/2 for offense/defense = 99
>-x for special teams
So a handegg player plays roughly the time of a single football match during a whole season.
Really makes you think.
Because of the rules of the game, some handegg players never touch a ball in all their 3,5 years long pro career.
Funny, isn't it?
because modern american football, a distant relative to rugby, has evolved into more of a gladiator exhibition and less of a sport. so much so that even contact with a ball is largely incidental for many players.
So do we. Depending on where you are in the UK there's rugby union or league. And cricket too.
Do you NFL watchers consider NFL players as human beings, yes or no?
They are human battering rams who sacrifice their bodies and brains for millions of dollars. The QB (and kicker, but they aren't considered real players) position is the only exception.
do you consider rugby players as human beings aswell ?
Rugby players are mere animals
We have the greatest sport in the world that runs from late August until the end of June. We have rugby which runs alongside the football season as well to give us some variety, and to top it all off we have cricket through Spring and Summer, the perfect sport to relax and watch during the football off-season. And on top of that we have many fine individual sports that run at various times of the year.
Every European country has two or three sports that are very popular, the reason we all talk about football is because it's the one that is very popular in every single European country. Look at Scandinavia and you get hockey, some Mediterranean countries play basketball, handball is popular in many countries, rugby is also popular in France and a few other places. Sport in Europe is way more interesting than sport in America.
Rugby tackles are not near as strong as Handegg tackles. They use pads and helmets for a reason.
That being said Rugby is more hurtful to play, you feel every single hit you take, in Handegg it doesn't hurt as much but your brain is literally melting while you're playing.
Handegg tackles aren't magically stronger than rugby tackles, they're still just human beings at the end of the day. They only need to wear dumb armour because everyone else is wearing dumb armour. And they still end up with brain injuries as a matter of course. Rugby players are more manly than handegg players and evidently more intelligent because they usually end their careers with their brain intact.
>Sport in Europe is way more interesting than sport in America.
stopped reading right there
>neckbeard_with_fedora_and_katana.jpg
Well that's OK because you made it to the end.
What could you have possibly been reading after?
I'm going to handball game tonight.
Before I'll eat a bifana and drink a few beers outside.
Next weekend I'll going to a futsal game, then a football game, within 100m from one another.
Next month I'll add voleyball and rollerhockey to the comfy weekend.
Football is just the game that is popular everywhere, but each country has their own pro leagues of other sports.
>W-we watch other s-sports, I-I swear
Funny that you never see yuros talk about these "other sports" on Sup Forums.
Because we don't care in fact
I hate americans pretending to watch 4 sports when at most they just watch 2 and be done with it. Heck, most people just follow one. but let's pretend for the sake of winning arguments in Sup Forums
>What is hockey
>NHL
>NFL
>NBA
>MLB
>College football
>College basketball
Stay jelly
Lmao, you don't know what you're talking about. NFL, NBA, and MLB are all really popular in the US. Hockey is regional, but it's hardly a stretch to say the average American sports fan watches at least 3 sports leagues religiously since that is generally how many you need for year around sports.
The sport in which the Netherlands dominate.
is this bait?
Those are still 4 sports.
What the fuck is wrong with you.
>what is /cric/, /rug/, /tennis/ and /f1/
absolute retard
He says we pretend to watch 4 sports. I actively watch 4 sports and multiple leagues of some of these sports. I was proving him wrong.
>Premier League
>La Liga
>Bundesliga
>Ligue 1
>Champions League
>World Cup
Those are all 1 sport wtf
>College football and College Basketball are different sports from Football and Basketball
Stay retarded.
Who said the otherwise?
The fact that our greatest sport is so short is part of the allure. Every game matters, every injury is the difference between a successful or bust season. No second chances, win now or go home.
We too
>Football
>Basketball
>Handball
>Volleyball
>Speedway
>Cycling
>Tennis
>Hockey
plus Nordic skiing
>/cric/
>/rug/
So you're saying Australians, Poopeelanders, South Africans, Indians, and Brits = yuros?
>/tennis/
Americans watch Tennis too. Same category as Golf.
>/f1/
This goes the furthest in proving your point, but this and Tennis are categorically different from "team sports" like Soccer, Football, Baseball, etc...
>american """"""""football""""""""
>not for poor redneck southerners and niggers who live in cardboard houses and eat junk food
>tennis
>anywhere close to golf
hat did he mean by this?
en.m.wikipedia.org
Yeah so poor its revenue is roughly equivalent to Europe's 5 biggest soccer leagues combined lmao
Depending on where you live, you're likely to be following up to five sports teams. I live in Michigan and I keep tabs on all of my local sports teams. Only team I don't watch are the Spartans because fuck Michigan State
>b-but the NFL opener had slightly smaller Nielson ratings than last year
