My dad

You have a skinhead dad? What's he like?

This nazi bullshit isn't Oi, it's a fucking disgrace

Nah I'm not a fucking nazi. Why don't you go piss off to Stormfront you pieces of trash

>implying skinbyrds aren't GOAT

Skinhead =/= Nazi
google skinhead and educate yourself

Hey now not all oi is nazi. I like it and vote labour always

>This nazi bullshit isn't Oi, it's a fucking disgrace

A good deal of it is. Like it or not, Skinhead Oi! wasn't some anti-racist standard fuck party. It may not have been Nazi, and a good showing of the original RAC bands were never NS, but RAC is as important a part of skinhead history as NSBM is for Black Metal.

He's basically a psychopath, always trying to confront people. He'll try to walk in people's way and step in front of cars so that he can start arguing with people. Always complains about everything, never sees the good in things etc. I wanted to murder him as a kid but I've learned to just ignore it.

Damn, what a cuntwit. Hope you're alright in all this.

Nah I'm a failure. Not going to blame him but it probably didn't help.

Casual racism in skinhead subculture, especially aimed at Pakistanis and other South Asians, goes back to the early '70s. Just listen to this and try to explain it away:
youtube.com/watch?v=Syx5gF4Q3_E

Skinhead style certainly wasn't an NS subculture, but to claim the "Spirit of '69" was some anti-racist standard fuck party is stupid, too. Here's a fascinating article about the Tilbury Trojan Skinheads, a group known for their affiliation with the band Angela Rippon's Bum as well as the staunchly xenophobic Anti-Paki League. Believe it or not, the APL had no formal ties to the National Front or British Movement. It was entirely grassroots xenophobia. Anyone who can tell me the original skinheads were anti-racist is lying. They may not have been Nazis, but they far from racially tolerant, especially to Indians/Pakistanis:

The watershed moment was an incident at a concert for The 4-Skins, The Business and The Last Resort in Southall during July of 1981. Two years earlier, police killed Anti-Nazi League activist Blair Peach in a riot instigated by the demonstrators, so racial tensions at a fever pitch. Accounts conflict as to who instigated it. The bands conceded the skinheads and South Asians weren't getting along, but maintain the the response was greatly out of proportion with the trouble the skinheads were causing them. On the other side, the South Asian locals claimed some of the skinheads assaulted women and elderly people, engaged in property destruction / vandalism and daubed National Front slogans on shop windows. The locals protested the gig on wrongful suspicion the bands were far-right and subsequently rioted, burning down the venue in the process. Following that incident, The 4-Skins recorded a song "One Law for Them"

The funny thing was he wasn't even that secret about it. He did stewarding work for gay pride marches, went to gay clubs and even appeared in gay porn. I imagine no one found out because no one was looking desu. Also knocked about with Psychic TV a bit, appears in the Unclean video. Proper interesting bloke desu.

Slagging off Pakis isn't the same as blood and soil nationalism, it's a working class British pastime

He was. He was a bit of a cunt, though.

He actively tried bullying other Oi! bands who were on the fence to become NF bands. One such case was with right-wing Oi! band Indecent Exposure. When they told Nicky to fuck off, he threw a beer bottle at them while they performed.

>Slagging off Pakis isn't the same as blood and soil nationalism

Under strict anti-racism, it is. To them, you might as well be instituting extermination camps if you think it's okay to beat up Pakistanis.

People didn't really know about it though either.
Its only in the last few decades that its become more open to be a gay.

this band is great

Who /12yearsold/ here?

Bump

Bitches love a bald jacked dude who looks militant.

Bumpo

Only the good stuff NEVER the RAC/Nationalist/bonehead bullshit!

Just for you two! Enjoy

youtube.com/watch?v=aHtECh4VAEI

That's a bunch of revisionist bullshit and historically inaccurate.

Only a small but vocal faction of poser skinheads set the wheels in motion, and for years, REAL skinheads have been beating those posers down, and make them going crying home to mommy!

There's definitely a conservative element to the politics that some of the bands hold, like Combat 84, for example, but they didn't tolerate nazis at their gigs.

Before there was Oi!............

Oh really?
And Nicky Crane wasn't a nobody. He was an icon in Oi! subculture.
