I've been, and it's comfy if you know people or have family there who can take you to do stuff
Otherwise at most you can go hiking, which is still pretty fun. The towns are small but comfy, Big Mama Burger still stands out to me from Brasov/Brassó, they gave me a burger with three patties next to each other, top tier burg. Otherwise there's horseback riding, hiking, camping (there's really nice lakes nearby in the foothills), as well as seeing museums and other things in the towns. Just watch for gypsies, they're not as much of a meme as you might think, but theres a lot less now than there was when I left
