If North Korea is allowed to have nukes should Japan and South Korea be allowed to have nukes?
Should Vietnam?
Germany?
Laos?
Saudia Arabia?
Lebanon?
Australia?
Brazil?
Canada?
Ireland?
Norway?
Finland?
Spain?
Morocco?
If North Korea is allowed to have nukes should Japan and South Korea be allowed to have nukes?
Basically, yes
Even Portugal had nukes
so then if every random country gets nukes.
What happens if someone chimps out like Argentina did in the 80s with the Falklands?
Are we just supposed to hope neither parties view that as a reason for nuclear war?
Survival of the fittest
China does have nukes
It's their own sovereign nations. What can you really do?
...
You seem to forget radiation exists
If someone uses a nuke, or initiates a nuclear war, everyone suffers
yes to all except Saudia Arabia and Brazil
not give them nukes
I haven't forgotten, but they're not our countries. They can do as they please.
A nuke here or there isn't so bad. 2053 Detonations till 1998 anyway.

why?
Actually, Japan is already in the state that warrants a legitimate withdrawal from NPT and nuclear armament as we've been undergoing a series of ICBM landings in Japanese waters off the coast of cities, which easily fulfill "extraordinary events" the treaty stipulates for. There is no telling what the warheads are and what would happen if they missed their aim a bit.
>Article X allows a state to leave the treaty if "extraordinary events, related to the subject matter of this Treaty, have jeopardized the supreme interests of its country", giving three months' (ninety days') notice. The state is required to give reasons for leaving the NPT in this notice.

what if they develop their own nukes
I mean the MAD doctrine only really works when you got shit to lose. That's kinda why we freak out when little shit countries become nuclear powers. China's gonna have to watch em real close and probably intervene personally if something goes down because the last thing they want is that much fall out hitting close to their border. That's just an opinion though.
Just give them all nukes and shoot them all at America. Only America will be a wasteland. Just get Brazil too.
SPEAKING as someone who studies nuclear and cyber warfare in depth as a profession and isn't just another armchair general, I can assure you that it isn't a good idea to give nuclear weapons to Japan and South Korea, and any other nation. Not only that is not a good idea, it also won't happen at least in the next 30 years, guaranteed. Japan and South Korea can assemble small nuclear warheads if necessary, but they lack any means to deploy them unless there is technology transfer from another country, which there won't be. It's also not in Japan's or South Korea's interest to own any nuclear weapons because of two main reasons:
1- North Korea has 4 warheads and poor means to deploy them, meaning investments in interception (specially in collaboration with the US) are wiser. There's no point in starting a nuclear arms race because of 4 small warheads with unreliable delivery systems.
2- China has a policy of no use against non-nuclear States, and if you were South Korea or Japan, you can imagine that you'd probably want to not be on China's nuclear crosshairs.
America would shoot back before they land. that's nearly 2000 ready to go nukes hitting in retaliation to every shitter country half of which are small enough that hitting all their major cities would ruin their lands for centuries. Its almost like NORAD exists pretty much specifically for that reason.
that's.. not actually what their camo looks like is it? Does it actually work anywhere? That's a movie right? I mean look at them hip firing. pls.
>allowed to have nukes
And just who's going to stop anyone from developing WMDs?
mr global policemon USA?
mr global policemon EU?
stop talking reddiitulous shit
brown boy.
Firstly, it's not fictional, they actually wear this glorious camouflage.
Second, those are North Korean special forces, the creme de la creme, show some respect.
that is glorious camo indeed.
10/10 for originality
Think the North Koreans are well hidden?
Heh....
It looks mildly functional in that picture. Where's the bright ass beige spots like in the other one? I only see said beige on the liner. I guess it could be the lighting difference.
what is that picture even showing?
all I see are trees
Blurry trees. whatever it is, must be moving fast.
Fuck it give everyone nukes
It's because there are plenty of variations, both of color and pattern. The first one is marsh/swamp, second is woodlands, this is the grasslands. There's also desert, camo and forest, but I can't find them. After the USSR fell the Norths were paranoid the US would invade so they came up with a lot of shitty camos of their own very quickly because of their fallen supplier, and due to sanctions camouflage is one the many departments that stagnated in shitty indigenous 1990s tech.
Only Canada and Finland should have nukes
you'd think their spies would spend more time doing corporate espionage and less time kidnapping Japanese people with this kinda problem.
...
come the fuck on
we all have nukes but merely pretending
lol your opinion is no more than a meme as well
>but they lack any means to deploy them unless there is technology transfer from another country,
not for japan, which already has reliable launch vehicles on both liquid and solid based propulsion systems; one of which, the epsilon, was designed to be almost equivalent to the peace keeper missile in capacity and dimension, even though they are used for economical missions. also, the predecessor of epsilon succeeded in an asteroid sample return mission in which the payload went to an asteroid, landed on it and brought samples back; this is way more difficult than just directly delivering payloads to points on the earth like ICBMs do. so going nuclear is a walk in the park for japan in terms of technology and materials. it's only NPT that restricted japan from doing, and north korea gave japan the best excuse for an exemption.
>1- North Korea has 4 warheads and poor means to deploy them, meaning investments in interception (specially in collaboration with the US) are wiser.
there is no guarantee for this, and even if it was the case it's highly improbable that they'll remain the same forever.
>2- China has a policy of no use against non-nuclear States
yeah, i've also heard that china has a policy of "peaceful rise", while they build fortified artificial islands in the open sea to expand territories, threatening concerned parties. besides, policies can be changed anytime.
>Germany?
Ow, hell no.
Nukes and nuclear war are is a fucking meme, they are nowhere near as destructive as they are portrayed.
>Ireland
yes that would be nice

The eternal anglo jealously hording his advantage, drenched in ayran blood crying in pain at his imagined threats.
> allowed
that's not how acquiring nukes works
country under some sort of foreign control and lack of balls automatically disqualifies itself
every country that ever got nukes got it against the wishes of almost the entire world. well, with the exception of USSR, maybe
the tree of victory gotta be wattered with the blood of the aryans
STOP
WHY WE CANT HAVE NUKES? I HOPE BRAZIL NEVER SAVE YOUR REFUGES OR HELP YOU IN A WAR WITH TROOPS AND RESOURCES AGAIN!
You're corrupt enough you'll sell them to the highest bidder, probably the Argies
>NK spend what little money and skill they have to produce nukes
Why do they keep doing this? No one wants to invade them. No one gives a fuck about their shitty clay.
Is it some hereditary mental disease the Kims have or are all people in power there fucked up in the head?
Everything they do is so pointless and almost childish.
Shit, I cant argue against that.
You can prevent this If you do the highest bidder. :3
See? Everyone can win.
This is the only reasonable response. It's all going to go down the shitter eventually, no harm in accelerating the process.
I'm pretty sure North Korea isn't actually allowed and are just employing a fuck the police policy
Eh I don't want nuke, I want better submarine, more aircraft and SAM as well as artillery
>profiting from war is wrong
Oh STFU.
Well the military managed to dominate nuclear tech during their govt. I wouldn't be surprised if they have some hidden.
even we had 36 of them
There isn't a single good reason Ireland shouldn't have nukes, we are the most morally good country and would never abuse them.

nice try autistic ""engrish teacher"", but you will never be considered part of them
>Ireland?
Unironically yes.
Though I'd prefer if we skipped the whole nuke phase and went straight into trying to get our hands on railguns.
>If North Korea is allowed to have nukes should Japan and South Korea be allowed to have nukes?
Yes, fair is fair
Learned from the Russians I see
Bump
>everyone had nukes
>USA pretends that they'll destroy theirs if others do the same
>they do it
>"haha just kidding! But don't you dare make nukes again or else..."
>Trump: "first order I did in office was to improve and expand our nuclear capacity!"
Serves us right. We trusted the Anglo..
Who learned it from the Americans
No one but USA, UK, and France should have nukes.
Ireland is unironically the only country that should have nukes
>Saudi Arabia
trump-sama woul get mad
>
what happen to them
Finland needs nukes to defend against Russia
>Giving japan nukes
Taking a couple weeks off work to get out of here. (not afraid of the nuke, but Need vacation and no sense sticking around if Guam DOES get nuked)
My brother and I are looking at Phuket, could be fun to have some surf/kite weather thats not as intense as here in Guam.
Anyone been to thailand? whats better pattaya vs phuket?
