They expect to start re-using the landed boosters in a few months. I recall reading they expect it to reduce the cost of launches by about 25% or $20 million. Though long term they aspire to do much better than that.

NASA like all govt. spending is highly over budgeted, him making it cheaper is a step in the right direction, but shaving a little off the top is not some marvel to science. When he can do this AND stop taking govt. handouts AND turn a profit I will applaid. But as of right now he os doing a slightly less shit job than bloated NASA and wasted billions while not being able to stand on his own two feet.
