Could they beat the USA in basketball?

Could they beat the USA in basketball?

who cares

Could anyone beat them in any sport?

>NO

they produce some fucking amazing players, but no. olympics proves this

Only if you can make a team out of them instead of very talented but totally uncoordinated recollection of egos and different styles of play.

So no.

Shut up Garsol.

lmfao

You guys should just reform Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia again. It seemed like it worked out last time.

>You guys should just reform Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia again. It seemed like it worked out last time.
Are we living in different timelines?

see

Czechoslovakia cannot into basketball. Barely can into football, just like Yugoslavia.

It took a Czechoslovakia vs Yugoslavia Euro football championship for them to finally win something.

Depends. We're kind of due for a loss in the next few years but that's largely due to our complacency (our team never practices and half of our players don't play.) If we actually cared though no chance. Our front court is so much more athletic than any other team in the world and we can effectively go hyperbig (Davis and Cousins) or hypersmall (Lebron and Green) at the 4/5 without sacrificing on either end of the court. That versatility makes us basically impossible for other teams to match up with.

But even the 08 redeem team struggled against Spain and it took Kobe going wild in the 4th to win

there's more talent now imo. next olympics will have westbrook, harden, AD, hayward, kyrie, etc etc. westbrook would kill himself on the court if we lost

Yes, but obviously Americans are better, there's no discussion there. 9/10 times they win.

Nobody right now is as good as that Spain team and if our team actually practiced or prepped for opponents we would destroy even the second best team in the world by 30. It was super apparent last olympics that Coach K didn't care and just threw out whatever lineup he felt like without really considering fit and matchups.

They did. Back in the day

Yugo basketball would be better off without us. Right now we have Bogdanović, everyone else is shit. But even if we had a team full of great players, we'd never achieve anything. Same with football. The atmosphere is rotten and deranged.

Saric?

He's mentally unstable and his dad is retarded. Loser.

YES, but only if game is not important, if finales NO, no one could, NBA stars are animals. 2 strong, 2 fast (and maybe, possibly on lots of drugs and steroids)

>You now remember Antonio Cuckoc

>implying i remember

>olympics proves this
how?

spain had more talent than the rest of europe combined in 2008. USA still won thanks to kobrball. 2012 was arguably the same

Teodosic
Bogdanovic
Bjelica
Jokic
Marjanovic
Bogdanovic
Dragic
Doncic
Blazic
Vukcevic
Pekovic
Teletovic

they couldn't even beat the italians

maybe

>our brave white lads
>vs some roided up apes
looks like we already won ;^)

Bjelica be like to cool to bear an -ic surname.

nice one you ottoman rape baby

if I photograph my hand, it is white... can you say the same, nigger?

>Pekovic
Put Nurk the turk in there and add Kalinic instead of Vooch and you have a team that could legit challenge USA.

ok mehmet now show us your Unibrow and your disgusting bulging slav face

No. The 10 best players in the world are all Americans, that's kind of impossible to beat unless there are serious motivation/chemistry issues, like in 2004. The Warriors alone could beat any non-US national team.

Your best player Atm is a Bosnian Serb

>who is giannis

does anyone live on those croatian coastlines and islands or are they sparsely populated like west coast of scotland?

Yeah, catholic serbs live there

That Spain team got old and USA has gotten so much better, talent wise. There's just not as much buy-in.

2008 didn't even have Duncan

Giannis is awesome, but he's not top 10.

They were good at hockey though

The warriors could probably any 10 players from the US too desu

Yugo team would be very good talent wise but they would like the pace and the strength to match the USA.

In the 2000s some team could beat team USA because they still used retarded tactics (going for the steal everytime as if their opponents were high schoolers, playing iso against zone defence, feeding their volume shooters to oblivion isntead of using their physical superiority). They were totally clueless against teams that could master pick and roll (Greece or Argentina), or against big men shooting 3s as it was not popular in the NBA yet.

Now the game played in NBA is more similar to European basketball with small ball lots, of 3 chucking so obvioulsy the USA are more powerful in FIBA games.

An all star European team would a better opposition

Dragic Mirotic Bogdanovic Gasol Atetokompo, or something like that

With real role players on the bench, like Teodosic, Rubio, Gobert, Jokic, Porzingis...

They could. USA aren't very good. And I would know because i'm visiting from USA and posting on a proxy.

He's catholic. That makes him Croatian in my book.

fpbp tbqh senpai

This.

Tactics, and very simple ones like the meme P&R, combined with their inability to adapt and obliviousness about international competitions, with actual talent in some team and them having poor grouping choices is what had USA BTFO by 4-5 teams back then.

They seem to have learned and adapted some concepts, including the meme 3s basketball, though. Their main advantage is still physicality though, and it's a big advantage.

>Their main advantage is still physicality though, and it's a big advantage.

this 2bh

VIDMAR

If USA put out a godmode lineup(pretty much the warriors plus LeBron) than not a chance

Jordan and Pippen were so pissed off that management were gonna sign Kukoc on a bigger contract than they had that they bullied the fuck out of him when Team USA played Croatia. He ended up being a good player for the Bulls though.

1.Curry
2.Klay
3.Durant
4.Lebron
5.Cousins

Bench
Westbrook
Harden
Kawaii
PG
Anthony Davis

This lineup would annihilate them

Yes.

dream team
C Divac
SF Kukoc
PF Peja
SG Petro
PG ?

Why is one part of Serbia coloured different?

we did, back in sssr

He's clearly top 10

yes

Of course not. They white. Beat his ass.

Would be so good in soccer, the old Yugoslavian national teams were so fucking good

Better questions is could those countries combine win a World Cup?

(imo they would definitely compete and finish top 4 in 2018)

Who's the Croatian that died after making a name for himself in the NBA? Didn't know of him before the 30 for 30, but that story is fucking sad senpai

>PG ?
Pete Maravich
