Not a western

>thought that was cia until I googled it
What have you done to me, Sup Forums

I always think that's CIA not Llewelyn

Probably a cliche choice but goddamn is this one great.

My favorite western is coincidentally the best western, The Wild Bunch.

Ugh, John Wayne should have stuck with playing football instead of acting.

its neo western

i usually hate westerns but i thoroughly enjoyed this one

I know what you mean, but there’s really no set criteria for what a western is (which is why this thread is kinda stupid). It’s basically just a film set in the desert during Old Timey USA. Westerns were only ever so pervasive because they were cheap af to make -- the desert’s only a 40 minute drive out of Hollywood, after all.

This is

...

this

not that shit for sure. but that isn't even a western though.

how is it italians made better westernst than actual westerners?

This thread is full of plebs

Once Upon a Time in the West

Honorable mention: Tombstone

this board is full of plebs*

...

>meme actors

I fucking love H8ful because it subverts what you've come to expect of a Western. Any films that do similar?

...

>Bone Tomahawk
my nigga

>It’s basically just a film set in the desert

It doesn't even have to be that. See Unforgiven or McCabe and Mrs. Miller

the great silence

3:10 to Yuma
The remake is respectable too

>Nobody's posted the truest of kino yet

Fucking plebs

This just proves you're the pleb here

This one.

remember guys, popular or critically acclaimed = bad

Just saw it for the first time. So many excellent performances.

This was pretty good.

Any of you seen this? Great film.

Overrated No Country clone

Deeply disappointed this hasn't been posted yet

>calling Sergio Kino pleb tier

Your disappointment is irrelevant. Your feelings are irrelevant. Keep that in mind if you decide to continue posting on my site.

...

The whole movie goes on about violence being awful, then has a Hollywood style shootout at the end in which Eastwood kills several guys by himself which totally goes against the film's message up until then.

I'm not actually disappointed friendo

>being this wrong on an asian image board forum for television and film

your autism is irrelevant

OPEN range has some of the best gunshot audio-engineering. Sound will blow your mind if you have a good set of speakers

favourite film of 2016
soundtrack is amazing as well but what do you expect nick cave is a genius

>buzzwords
>whiteknighting for other males
Stupid queer.

>shit-posting without rebutting anything I said

Kys faggot

This shit right here.

>he thinks this is reddit or high school debate club
I bet all the boys at the Y get so hard for how rational you are.

Probably Once Upon a Time in the West

Brad Pitt was a fucking badass in this

Stagecoach or My Darling Clementine. Leone was definitely good, but no one holds a candle to Ford.

...

Unforgiven is the pinnacle of the western genre.

This for me too but if I had to pick a more classic one I'd go for Union Pacific. It was comfy overload

see, this is what I'm sayin'

That really gory scene

That soundtrack

Once upon a time in the west and Unforgiven. But admittedly haven't seen many westerns.
I don't want to say you are wrong because my interpretation regarding some of the movie's elements is different, but you are wrong.
Till before the ending I was watching a really good movie. The ending was jaw dropping to me. Kinda plebish to take into such consideration the ending of a film but in this case I can't help it.

How to resist the temptation to watch the Man with no name trilogy at 1.75x speed? Shit drags worse than a land anchor

Is bone tomahawk a meme?

I saw the webm of the guy getting GG no re torn in half and im scared to watch it

If you didn't see this in theaters get the fuck off my board

Needs a new remaster and special/collector's edition release imo. WB has done them before.

I don't know if I can narrow it to a single favorite. Unforgiven, Stagecoach, No Country and the Dollars Trilogy are all contenders. Hell or High Water is a recent favorite.

I don't see how phone displays shining in my face and people chewing nachos in my ear and talking would enhance this experience user

this is my choice

i want that 4 hour version with more qt casey aflleck

Going South.
Jack Nicholson being a drunk outlaw purchased by a virgin woman is absolute comedy.

This is the only correct answer

That's it. There's no gore other than that. It's actually pretty comfy desu.

That's the only scene that's really brutal, everything else is pretty standard. Definitely give it a watch

>set in a western state
>not a western
