This is what I have been listening to this morning: erszebet.bandcamp.com
Gloomy and sweet organ based synth with samples and improvised melodies. My friend made it and I did some of the vocals.

>if i tell you it sounds like bubblegum bass in spanish would it convince you more?
>features a guest mix by "yamir" known for hits such as "mullvad" and his own reggaeton song "god put me in this world for two things"
It's pretty good, but there's too much reverb, no sharp sounds, really background music in nature

You might think about using looping GIFs in overlays with one another, and as they are loops, they can be bpm synched.
Lower and filter sweep those screeching sounds, and consider panning them more, perhaps using multiple copies of the same mono recording for some flange action.
The low tones would benefit from more clearly setting a tempo and being layered with midrange tones of the same note.
Cut up the individual sentences spoken into words and time them so the flow of the sentence changes to fit the flow of the song. Even ambient stuff flows, I swear!
Pick important words to single out, pan and delay.
Use more wild animals, layer & pan them and think of every sound you add as one more animal in your forest. I do this with a blend of Loons, Gulls, crickets, cicadas, wind, owls and wolves - each of which is tuned to harmonize with the other animals and sounds in the song.
Here's the GIF method I described being used in a short animation. Up to 4 or 5 are layered, and they're largely tempo synched to the cadence of the song.
~32 records were sampled, no sample longer than 2 seconds.

Said this last time but I think the thread died right after: This is cool as a political and humanitarian statement, the sounds you're using really match what I'd imagine the desperation has felt like down in PR. Hope you've been alright these past few months man.

I would like to be as good a musician as that vampyrsynth I posted earlier. And most of you are truly great. I know how to produce simple melodies and that I know really good. I think it is because of all the weed I smoked as a young person. but I never learned how to keep a pure tune. I have no ears for it. I have made this and some other things and I want to share it with you. this I am glad I did.
