Georgia for me

The majority of Americans will say either the state they live in, or the state they were born in.
State nationalism is part of American culture

Wyoming

Literally anything not on the coasts has its own merits

>flyover states have merits

The ONLY right answer

Are you still butthurt I said you have a gay pride flag?

Also how new

El Estado Plurinacional de Bolivia

I've been on Sup Forums for 3 years I just started using Sup Forums today

Delaware, because all other states are non-states compared to Delaware

...

I agree, Colorado is a pretty cool state.

Then welcome to Sup Forums, lonestar wanderer.

My state, Pennsylvania. Actual colonial history, all four season and beautiful hills, mountains, rivers and creeks and generally super comfy. State pride though, you'll only get answers from people who live there.... most will either love it or hate it. No one is really a weeb for other states except for people who like NY or Cali desu

Washington probably
maybe oregon, nocal, Colorado..

this is why the rest of america don't like the south

Ohio.
Great place with great restaurants, great capitol, and great people.

>pennsylvania
>actual colonial history
Why because those documents were signed there?
There wasn't a single important event in Pennsylvania besides that. Whilst Virginia has Jamestown, Yorktown, Roanoke Colony, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, etc.

That explains why so many people move to the south once they retire.

...

Come back once your states win a war

New York. Was born there and grew up there + like the culture and history.

Ohio was on the winning side of the Civil War

Come back once you were one of the original 13.
>Texas has only been a state for 172 years
>forgetting Delaware has been a state for 230 years

Right down the street from me is a colonial era building desu, and PA has a majority of Americas industrial history when it comes to both east PA manufacturing and Pittsburg steel. And yes, because documents were signed there. On a cooler note, my local city has some awesome history:

Revolutionary War Edit
Easton was an important military center during the American Revolutionary War.[citation needed] During the Revolutionary War, Easton had a military hospital.[8] On 18 June 1779, General John Sullivan led 2,500 Continentals from Easton to engage British Indian allies on the frontier.[9] Easton was one of the first three places the Declaration of Independence was publicly read (along with Philadelphia and Trenton). It is claimed that the Easton flag was flown during that reading,[10] making it one of the first "Stars and Stripes" to fly over the colonies.[11] This flag was used by a militia company during the War of 1812, and currently serves as Easton's municipal flag.

pic related is the flag and the colonial building

>this is what statelets say to themselves to keep from committing suicide

>Delaware

>not saying "delawhere?"

...

New York, Washington or the states around them, they have the richest history of the country, and they were the original founders of the state. Also they has the highest IQ from All US

>New York produced the important people in the rev
>Washington was even a state

You statelets don't ACTUALLY believe that crap do you?

>Washington

>first state in the Union
>long history of colonists involving the Dutch, Swedes, Anglos, etc
>tax haven
>not 49.6 white like Texas, instead in the 60s
hmm ok Jose

>statelets larping as relevant

Aren't they that make your culture and country? I thougt thanks to the american anglos the US exist,is that big

>Hey Americans, what is your favourite State?
Ohio
>Why?
Because I'm from there

Arizona, because reasons

Not the guy you responded too, but NY is only a part of an american subculture, and only partially makes up the whole american """""culture""""". Im just a burger so I could be wrong but Im under the impression that a lot of people still think we are cowboys or fat people. That isnt strongly associated with NY

Not an American but I've visited 6 American states.
Texas is by far the best

Most Revolutionary era people were born in Virginia, and most of the important events occurred in either Virginia or Pennsylvania

to*, not too

ahem

>1 wounded
>Military stalemate
You know we fought an entire country right?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Cooch's_Bridge
unrelated

>memeledo war

>a coalition of 13 states fighting a country is the as one state a country
Statelet are you even trying?

Yes actually, because like 20% of our population fought in that battle

As well as 20% of 12 other states populations

>implying the unit was made up of troops from other states
I know you have San Jacinto as your state's great victory, but this is our equivalent

I'd go with rhode island. I wasn't born in rhode island but in connecticut, but I spent a lot of summers in rhode island as a kid, in newport and jamestown and I absolutely love it there. Newport is an absolutely beautiful place. Its houses and buildings are laid out quite similarly to south boston but newport is a very nice swanky place and southy isn't.

I'm talking about the war in its entirety user

I was talking about the one battle. As with pretty much everything else, Delaware wasnt noticeable. Thats ok though, we don't like being noticed.

How is it possible that Maine hasn't been mentioned yet? It is objectively the best state, there is no argument.

Maine is a poor man's vermont

>the impression that a lot of people still think we are cowboys or fat people
Well thats a part but i thought that the most and revelant thoughts of USA are just the famous material from there, Pepsi,Oreo,Disney, Ford Liberty Statue, central park

Ah

they give you fredroom and today no one cares aboth them..

A lot of us sometimes feel as if we are slaves to consumerism, even those who are capitalist. I never considered something so obvious would be what a lot of non-americans would think of us.

>1 wounded
fucking kek

>claims victory
>half the state's population is mexican
Dumb ol texas

>Y-yeah so what if your s-state won a war a-all by itself?
Statelets actually believe this

*messes with texas*

Spic here. Gonna move to Pennsylvania in a month from shitty NYC cant wait. It really is a wonderful state, been there many times.

Florida

Most unique and interesting state in the country with by far the most unique and interesting history of any state
>sided with the british against the colonists during the revolution
>provided safe haven for slaves during the slavery era and helped them and the injuns raid the southern states
>fought with the confederacy against the union
>now a key political swing state that has influenced several controversial elections

>Spain must immediately make her election either to place a force in Florida adequate at once to the protection of her territory and to the fulfilment of her engagements or cede to the United States a province of which she retains nothing but the nominal possession, but which is in fact a derelict, open to the occupancy of every enemy, civilized or savage, of the United States and serving no other earthly purpose, than as a post of annoyance to them.
John Quincy Adams, 1818

Literally been actively pissing off the rest of the country for almost 200 years now, our entire state identity is basically a giant middle finger to the other states. How can any other state compete?

*gets bitten by an army of mosquitoes*

Maryland

Is there even an option, I've lived in like 6 other states and Maryland just feels like home
