ive managed to build up an immunity from listening to it so many times, but for a while i couldn't help getting misty eyed every time i heard it

it was an upsetting film
i've cried to that song too
youtube.com
portishead have quite a few very emotional tracks but this especially is for me
youtube.com
it's a very upbeat song but i find it quite emotional for some reason. i guess it's just because it's so beautiful. one of the best songs ever written in my opinion.
Every fucking time.

I found it literally painful to watch. Haven't been able to watch it again. Way harsher than almost any of the other films people generally find depressing/disturbing, including Von Trier's other films.
This someone you knew, user? Condolences if it is.
His voice has that effect I guess, Untitled at the end of Green can make me sad
I'll probably never be able to watch it again, especially after the allegations Bjork has layed on Von Trier. Makes that film even more painful
>His voice has that effect I guess
yeah i guess it does. i've always thought that stipe's voice sounds exactly like the voice in my head except with a different accent
that springsteen track is great too btw
I don't know them, I just found it when I was looking for covers. The performance is powerful and made me really sad. Specially after the crescendo, "I will see you in the next life" hits harder without the lyrics because you know what it means.
...
holy shit that's powerful. I was seriously holding back tears when the crescendo hit, and I don't even know the guy. Really good

Absolutely. People love to hate on Radiohead but their music has inspired some of the best covers I've ever heard from really talented artists.
Sucks that when people hear "Radiohead" and "cover" in the same sentence, they think of Creep automatically
That's true. You need to actively look for covers beyond the usual popular songs to find some really good ones. Because of their effortless genre-mixing, there's a lot of room for other artists to experiment with sounds and re-interpret their music.
fucking this, so beautiful
imagine crying to this generic garbage
youtube.com
I'm going through a tough time rn. This one got me
must be a woman posting
Open bobs

Gets me every time, I've collapsed on the floor, overwhelmed with emotion. I think I've found a moment where I can compose myself as a write this. I just can't take it, it's too much. I feel like cutting myself just to take my attention of the insanely intense emotion
Cool Waves got me teary. Never happened before with anything, and it only happened on my first listen. Was pretty cool.
Only good post ITT.

I had this on my speaker system on my first legal warehouse grow, all my wall fans' oscillation synced up with the violin swell at 2:08 and moved my canopy in symmetrical waves around me.
