Dark Elves are basically East Asians. They have the right characteristics and the looks. Upper class Germanics are High Elves, but lower class look far too ugly and are simply Humans in any imaginable setting. Celts and Slavs could be seen as Wood Elves for all I care, but the same should be said about their lower classes.
