More like Waste World, because this was a WASTE of my time
More like Waste World, because this was a WASTE of my time
Is it that bad?
this, but unironically
nah it's pretty good
people just like to hate on it here because it got popular
People on this board always say like season 1 is great, everything after is downhill. Or episode 1 is great, everything after is downhill.
In this show, I actually experienced this. Don't watch it, it's terrible and only plebs will like it
No it's pretty entertaining, everyone here just hates what people like.
>Oh god oh god oh god how do we keep people paying for our channel when GoT isn't airing or G-d forbid when it FINISHES we have nothing NOTHING
>Go another piece of shit AMC didn't pick up, maybe that will stick
Butt the girl robots were hot
>maeve
>hot
the pilot was the only good episode. everything else was dull, repetitive and stupid. it's like the show went out of its way to have as many plot holes as possible
this
No, it's pretty great. The problem is that it's premise is completely absurd and if you treat it like a philosophical piece, it fails completely as AI can never become sapient. But if you just treat it as a piece of entertainment, it's fine.
The people who think it's dull, repetitive, and stupid are, in fact, the plebs. I'm not saying it revolutionary brilliance incarnate, but it's got interesting things going for it, and people who think it's boring are kids with low attention spans.
Yes it repeats scenes sometimes, but the important thing is the little differences that it highlights. That's like calling Groundhog Day repetitive. Yes, but that's the point.
Clementine is obviously superior, but Maeve is naked the most so I begrudgingly give her some leeway
this is what is considered a quality troll in the year 2017
One of the best current tv shows. Just this and The Young Pope, and Quarry if you count Cinemax, HBO is the best network around by a mile
>Bro these robots are like a 2/10 inside the park just you wait
>Maeve and Armenia-bot are 10/10 in Westworld
Better than Stranger Things.
wow, really gets the ol' noggin joggin
are you gay? maeve is hot
...
Shut up, Chef
>everything else was dull
Dull? If you think this is dull then you probably shouldn't watch the dullest franchise in the history of movie franchises. Each episode following the boy wizard and his pals from Hogwarts Academy as they fight assorted villains has been indistinguishable from the others. Aside from the gloomy imagery, the series’ only consistency has been its lack of excitement and ineffective use of special effects, all to make magic unmagical, to make action seem inert.
Perhaps the die was cast when Rowling vetoed the idea of Spielberg directing the series; she made sure the series would never be mistaken for a work of art that meant anything to anybody?just ridiculously profitable cross-promotion for her books. The Harry Potter series might be anti-Christian (or not), but it’s certainly the anti-James Bond series in its refusal of wonder, beauty and excitement. No one wants to face that fact. Now, thankfully, they no longer have to.
>a-at least the books were good though
"No!"
The writing is dreadful; the book was terrible. As I read, I noticed that every time a character went for a walk, the author wrote instead that the character "stretched his legs."
I began marking on the back of an envelope every time that phrase was repeated. I stopped only after I had marked the envelope several dozen times. I was incredulous. Rowling's mind is so governed by cliches and dead metaphors that she has no other style of writing. Later I read a lavish, loving review of Harry Potter by the same Stephen King. He wrote something to the effect of, "If these kids are reading Harry Potter at 11 or 12, then when they get older they will go on to read Stephen King." And he was quite right. He was not being ironic. When you read "Harry Potter" you are, in fact, trained to read Stephen King.
The first episode was great. I'd recommend it as its own little standalone film.
Everything else is disappointing at best.
This is a joke list right? I mean why else a piece of rubbish writing such as AYN FUCKING RAND ON THE TOP OF THE LIST?!
>being a liberal
It was scientifically compiled by memelords in order to make anyone who reads it angry.
Yeah. First couple of episodes got me interested and I watched the rest to see if they'll actually manage to make something of it. I was disappointed.
