The whole stolen valor epidemic is great, but it gave random fuckers on the street to confront anyone in uniform and start yelling about them about stolen valor.
I have had two lunch breaks where I was confronted for stolen valor, no reason at all, there was nothing wrong with my uniform. I showed them my military ID and they still go off their fucking rocker about stolen valor.

i would like to lay into right now.
In theory (as i understand it from its first
legal conception) it is designed to fine or
incarcerate people attempting to profit from
wearing a uniform of the US armed forces.
E.g. A guy wearing camo cammies flying a
sign that says "homeless vet".
Sure. ticket away. He's asking for money.
HOWEVER this concept has boiled down to
ANYBODY wearing camouflage now. It has
even taken off in other countries. This is

I have seen youtube videos of legit veterans
being smeared because they could not
remember nor prove on the spot they where the
real deal. This is a toxic thing to do, yet our
"Modern Veterans" feel so embolded to act like
