Piper
Atom Heart Mother
Meddle, Live at the Pompeii, and Aminals were the best three.
>FUCKIGN REDDIT REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Just kidding, Animals.
By a very wide margin
Dark Side of the Moon
fags
meddle > wywh > animals > saucerful > dsotm > piper > atom heart mother > the wall > division bell > final cut > momentary lapse of reason
>division bell > final cut > momentary lapse of reason
I don't think these are really worth mentioning. Not real Floyd without Waters.
>you reached for the secret too soon
the one that's more than just the sound of them getting sucked off by millions of cucks worldwide that have heard less rock bands than their hands have fingers.
inb4 friendo gets here and sperges out with his garbage tiered list
S Tier:
>Animals
A Tier:
>The Final Cut
>Dark Side of the Moon
>Atom Heart Mother
>The Wall
B Tier:
>Wish You Were Here
>Momentary Lapse of Reason
>Meddle
C Tier:
>everything else
So have any of you guys listened to their solo albums? Radio Kaos is really good, it's kind of like a mix between the vibes of 80's commercial rock, subverted, and Rock Bottom. The extended version of it is really good imo
Roger Waters solo albums are GOAT, Gilmour on the other hand is hot garb
Pros and Cons > Amused to Death > Radio KAOS = new one
>liking anything after wish you were here
Dark side of the moon
>Amused to Death
Definitely my favorite even compared to Pink Floyd as a band.
Is pretty good, 9/10
Obscured by Clouds is a personal fav. Second is probably Relics.
How very OBSCURE ollolololol
Ayyyy lol
...
My step dad was at the montreal concert where waters spit on the crowd.
music history.
Has anyone seen Roger Waters in concert recently? My girlfriend and I are thinking about going to one of his concerts in the next year. He must not be as good of a performer as he was, obviously. Is it still worth it?
He's on tour right now. You'll probably miss him.
Anybody listen to the soundtrack they did called More
It's got a few gems. Ibiza Bar and Nile song stand out
Saw him in Seattle, I was blown away
honestly it's dark side of the moon
Endless River
He lip syncs.
He definitely did not. I saw him as well in Chicago and you could tell it was his voice.
good opinions friend
...
Without any intention to come across as "edgy"...
The Final Cut
What are you smoking? That's him singing. He only said a couple lines in that video anyway
Quality taste. I'd personally switch The Wall and WYWH though.
Of course it's him singing. On a pre-recorded vocal track. For fuck's sake, he's not near the mic and his mouth isn't even moving when the vocal starts. How much more obvious do you need it to be?
agreed
I love Waters' solo records but was pretty disappointed by Gilmour's solo stuff. Considering he was instrumental to their sound and basically wrote all of Dogs, I was expecting something less dull.
Almost agreed. The Wall is B tier for me.
I don't agree with it all but that's a very respectable listing.
Good taste.
>All live albums
>WYWH
>Darkside
>Animals
>The Wall
>The Rest
final cut is literally all waters though
easily animals
GOD TIER
>Atom Heart Mother
>Meddle
>The Dark Side of the Moon
>Wish You Were Here
>Animals
GREAT TIER
>The Wall
>The Division Bell
GOOD TIER
>The Piper at the Gates of Dawn
>A Saucerful of Secrets
>The Endless River
MEDIOCRE TIER
>More
>Ummagumma
>Obscured by Clouds
>The Final Cut
>A Momentary Lapse of Reason
That being said, WYWH is my favorite. Damn, what a great discography.
It's a compilation but I like Relics a lot. Meddle and everything post Syd but Pre Dark Side has grown on me.
"Peak" Floyd of Dark Side to the Wall is just the band reaching the limit of what they could do with each other and then attempting to recreate that while cynicism crept into their work more and more. It's good but I now prefer listening to them grow rather than stagnate into cynical old cunts.
