I think most people are douchebags so that's not much help. It is full of people who want to get rich, a lot of self-important types.
There's certainly some good people I've met, however they're pretty much only good to me because I'm smart. There's not a lot of good will for the dullards who don't understand anything. Basically people just want to befriend you because you can help them, but isn't that the way it is in all of life? People always want something from you, whether it's your ear, your time, your advice, your social status, your wealth.
Anyway, I'd recommend law school only if you knew what you wanted to be once you graduated. Figure out your purpose, otherwise you'll be working hard thinking "Why am I working hard? Oh yeah because I invested money and time into this already. Why'd I do that? Fuck..."

I've been reading a few books about mass incarceration, the death penalty, etc in the states recently which has made me interested. Unfortunately the justice system in Canada (where I am) doesn't seem nearly as bad as the system in America, though I'm sure reform can always be done.
