What songs should I test my new headphones with?

Just got a notification that my new headphones/amp have been delivered. My first "real" headphones. Give me some songs to test them out when I get home from work.

Pic related is them. Sennheiser HD660S

Bohemian Rhapsody is perfect for getting the most of everything the pair can do most likely.

I would have said Gaucho or Aja but that's cliche I guess.

Any of the three are good

Sup Forums here. Let it burn in before listenin.

My top two records for headphone listening are Jim O'Rourke's The Visitor and Pantha du Prince's Black Noise.

Both are incredibly well produced albums with diverse instrumentation. You'll definitely get the most out of them with those 660s

Make sure to DL the FLACs.

The real question is why on Earth would anyone buy the HD660S?

steely dan like all the other audiophile fags

I don't understand why you didn't just buy beats, you mind as well be listening with trash bags on your head, you want to be a real audiophile, you need to invest in some Mikro-Pebbles™ and properly ground yourself while in a room with negative decibles and do a high dose of a ketamine, they say the only thing you can feel is your hearing while k-holing

Pretty much any Steely Dan if you like Steely Dan. I'm not a huge fan of the Dan, but I will admit that they're pretty much unparalleled in terms of recording when it comes to bands from that era.

Some others:
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On
The Flaming Lips - Soft Bulletin/Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots
Johann Johannsson - Orphee
Outkast - Aquemini

>testing your headphones with youtube videos

John Cage 4’33 is the best for testing, and for breaking in which should take 72 hours of nonstop 4’33.

By The Throat by Ben Frost
Trust me

Burn in is pretty much a meme.

t. headphonelet

The entire "Dark side of the moon" album by pink floyd

it's a placebo you fucking brainlet

download this album in a lossless format, at the highest possible bitrate, and sit in a dark room with your eyes closed.

>vibrating a newly manufactured plastic membrane for dozens of hours has no impact on performance

Its barely noticeable but definitely there

burn-in exists, but its effect on sound quality is miniscule. the whole concept is purported by idiots trying to sound smart

Blast Death Grips until your headphones combust
