EDM festivals drove the prices up to high without delivering anything new or decent. and other festivals just cost too much for whos playing or the lineup sucks. very rarely is it worth it to go to a festival, unless youve got the money to throw around

they're dying like theatres are dying and cable is dying like taxis and cashiers are being phased out. People want convenience and entertainment at a fair price. Basement shows are not suffering because of this, hopefully this new digital age offers more oppurtunities for local scenes to thrive
