Recommend me any electronic albums that you like.
And I don't mean IDM or some ambient techno bullshit that you found deep on bandcamp, I mean stuff you can dance to.

Starting off with Flume because he seems to be the only dance music producer that doesn't get instantly shat on here because his s/t was Sup Forums-friendly.

Future Bass is the most generic brand of EDM these days and it's all due to Flume, my guy.

Madeon - Adventure
Jamie XX - In Colour
Daft Punk Discography
Justice Discography
Modjo S/T
Disclosure Discography
Lazerhawk - Redline
Miami Nights 1984 - Turbulence

Not sure how entry level you want.

Also, Peaches - The Teaches of Peaches, it's more Electroclash than pure Electronic, but you might enjoy it too.

Nice, I've listened to some of this already (namely the first four on this list), but will definitely check out the rest. Are there more albums like Adventure out there?

>Not sure how entry level you want
Pretty entry level, to be honest. I really want to dive into dance music, but there's just so much out there that I don't know where to start aside from newer producers that blow up and get a lot of press, like Madeon, Flume, Porter, etc.

DJ Rashad and Machine Girl are great.
I can't say I like that AAL album all that much, though. This kind of house music is a fucking snoozefest.

It doesn't work like that, dude. Electronic music is a single-based genre.

edm albums are not very common but here my choices anyway:
Tchami - Revelations
Sub Focus - Torus
What So Not - Divide & Conquer
X&G - Anomalies
AC Slater - Outsiders
HOWSLA
Boys Noize - Oi Oi Oi
Chase & Status - No More Idols
Jerry Folk - Purple Evenings
SLUMBERJACK (all their EP's are good for future bass standarts)
Madeaux (probably the next big thing)

I love The Knife as much as the next guy, but this post is exactly the type of electronic music I'm /not/ looking for.

Great, I'll check these out. The only one off that list I'm familiar with is What So Not, and Gemini EP was very good. Gemini is up there as one of my favorite dance songs of all time.

everything i've heard by friend within has been pretty decent

John Talabot - Fin
Bicep - s/t
Moderat - II
Bonobo - The North Borders
Tropics - Nautical Clamor
Recondite - Iffy
George Fitzgerald - Fading Love
Classixx - Hanging Gardens
Lockah - Yahoo Or The Highway
CFCF - Continent

Bicep - Bicep
Disclosure - Caracal
Lunice - CCCLX
FKJ - French Kiwi Juice
Commodo - How What Time
Com Truise - Iteration
Petit Biscuit - Presence
Rysy - Traveler
Kaytranada - 99.9%
Da Vosk Docta - Even If You Didn't Expect It
Electric Mantis - Braincase

Justin Jay - Home

OP this is a fantastic and very easy to enjoy album. Please give it the time.

>sub focus-torus

Fuck no. Listen to the original sub focus album regardless. Torus is pretty much shit

I ain't that dude, but Torus is not that bad.
Not as good a S/T, but I still like it.

flume has never made future bass, his style has always been unique(pop/edm flylo) and any future bass is just a cheap imitation of his 2013-2015 releases
