If you disagree then you have shit taste.

I like that you omitted nuBond but Brosnan will always be #1 for me

>inb4 le 90's kid nostalgia goggles

Moore underrated as fuck. Dalton is typically overrated.

Not only is Dalton not overrated but everyone seems to universally agree he was terrible.

>Craig not Top 3

nostalgiafags are the worst

I like his fun Bond approach too, he just stayed in the role for way too long and it shows.

>Craig
Literally not Bond.

not really

Dalton has developed something of a cult following within the Bond fandom, like OHMSS his movies have been re-appraised over the last decade or so and he's finally getting the praise he deserves. The people who think he's awful have dwindled to a minority

have you ever seen a Dalton bond film?
>implying he is the worst bond
fucking dumb cunts get out of my thread Dalton is superior

no, Craigbabies are the worst

Dalton is the closest to Flemming's bond we'll ever get, so my vote goes to him

>7. Ideas elba

eh, I don't think him being closer to the literary Bond somehow makes him better by default, I don't even like the Fleming novels and I think the movies are generally better

That said I love Dalton's take on the character regardless, and Licence to Kill is one of the top 5 best films in the series

Craig is too ugly to be Bond. He looks like Putin.

how dare you insult the President-Elect

What don't you lil about the books. I also think Dalton was a good bond

What?

Are you retarded
Brosnan is clearly the last one on the right and you put him as 4
fucking retards can't even count and number properly anymore
Dalton is only 4 but you put him as 2....

autism

Are you gay?

for you

He is kind of like Brosnan. Good Bond but his track record is 50/50 with Casino being good, QoS ok and Skyfall and Spectre absolutely horrid.

I just can't get past Fleming's prose, he can be so obtuse when it comes to setting a scene or describing an event, it's aggravating. He's really elaborate when it comes to inconsequential details, but incredibly vague with action scenes.

I've only read two of the novels, and have no desire to read any more.

dubs confirm. I tend to agree with you. "skyfall was amazing". No it was boring as hell. Spectre was dogshit besides the intro and ruined the significance of Le Chiffre and Quantum being some super shadowy organization. And DESU, I loved QoS.

License is defo one my favs.
I honestly don't have strong opinions about one Bond over another, but the last few movies (Skyfall, Spectre) have been shitty imo although I liked Casino and QoS.

except Brosnan is 75/25, they're all good except Die Another Day which is so bad it's good

The only strong opinion I have is that I don't like Craig, I think he was clearly cast because he looked different from other Bond and they wanted to steer the franchise in a new direction, a direction I'm not too fond of. The first five Bonds however, I love them, even Lazenby.

CR isn't even that different from your average Bond film. The tropes are all in, just subverted, and there's nothing more Bond than a Casino. Sure it was gritty just for the sake of it, lacked real gadgets and felt too Bourne at times, but you could still recognize it as a Bond movie. Everything after it just went fuck the past we modern now.

This

>Skyfall
>absolutely horrid
When will this meme end?

It's not so much that it's different in terms of tropes, I simply dislike the shift in tone. Like you say, it was gritty for the sake of it and felt too Bourne at times. Overall it was almost like a compromise to people who think Bond movies are too cheesy, as if it's embarrassed to be part of the same franchise as previous movies. And like I said, I don't like Craig. At all.
