Plainsong is the greatest song of all time

Plainsong is the greatest song of all time.
You cannot refute this.

Title track is the best song from the album, from 1989, from The Cure and from the 80s

But the very next song is better

quads of i agree but plainsong and title track are still god tier

It's not even the greatest track named Plainsong

youtube.com/watch?v=nt5T95_88ss

too melodramatic for my taste

their best albums are faith and porno

this album doesn't get good until the longer songs

My men, you just said that Plainsong is better than Pictures of You and Disintegration! I love you both forever now and will do anything you ask me! Anytime

HOW THE FICK CAN YOU EVEN SAY THAT PICTURES OF YOU IS ANYWHERE THE LEVEL OF PLAINSONG!? SERIOUSLY, EXPLAIN ME THIS, SINCE I AM OBVIOUSLY TOO DUMB TO UNDERSTAND IT!

This

But it shows how amazing of an album it is that we are arguing about which song on it is the greatest of all time

bump

Untitled is my 2nd favorite track

Patrician

Bump

>Original CD and cassette copies of Disintegration listed "Last Dance" and "Homesick" as bonus tracks, as they were not included on the original vinyl issue of the album.
Is the album better without those? I've only ever listened to all of it and I feel like it a bit long and drags.

Wrong

If you were to have stated:

>Plainsong is my favorite song of all time. You cannot refute this.

I would have agreed with you.

I can't imagine the album without those songs, both are good transition songs, especially Homesick, it makes a nice 1-2-3 punch from Disintegration -> Homesick -> Untitled

>The Cure
>good

How do you differentiate between an 8.6 and an 8.8?

Last Dance is slightly better than Lullaby

>deleting the second best track
Why did they do that?

i can't refute it.

"not included on the original vinyl pressings of Disintegration, due to time limitations of the medium, and therefore listed as a bonus track on the cassette and CD releases."

Title Track is the best song of the 80s

Sure, but I would have deleted Disintegration and Pictures of You instead of those

Once again, I am too dumb to understand why so many people say Disintegration is one of the best songs. It's really good, of course, but almost all other songs sound better

thats not homesick

Most patrician taste of us all

Although Plainsong is indeed slightly better than Homesick

I love the album but honestly it all sort of blurs together, I'll recognise each song when it's playing but off hand I couldn't name most of them.
I heard someone say the cure is just a singles band, but I feel the opposite. If I choose to listen to them I want the whole album experience, and they have so many fantastic ones as well.
Everything from 17 seconds through to Disintegration is amazing, and Bloodflowers is still pretty good too.
Further, the singles compilation thing staring at the sea I don't really enjoy, although Japanese Whispers I don't mind and listen to sometimes

>I would have deleted Disintegration and Pictures of You instead of those
Imagine being someone who thinks Last Dance and Homesick are better than Disintegration and Pictures of You.
