> Stephen Hawking > Richard Dawkins > J.K. Rowling > Bill Gates > John Oliver > Noam Chomsky > Peter Higgs > Tim Berners-Lee > Lawrence Summers
Why is it that there were so many intellectuals that backed the Remain vote, while almost no notable people other than a few fringe economists, British Libertarians and C-grade celebs backed the Brexit?
>le people with higher than average intelligence are inherently good economists meme fuck off
Christopher Adams
>J.K. Rowling >intellectual
Writing books for children qualifies as being an intellectual now?
Jayden Wilson
>Jew Kike Rowling
All she did was rip off one Discworld book which Terry Pratchett had the grace to shrug off as just "it was inspired". Her writing is crap and the first two books in the series are only good for their whimsey and warm setting.
Levi Ward
>all jew controlled liberal rich folks Yeah I wonder why working class people didn't agree with them.
Ayden Taylor
>John Oliver You almost had me there OP.
Jacob Young
yes goyim, remember that your only purpose in life is to consume and generate GDP. Forget your cultures, your family, your friends, your religion, and your way of life. All must be sacrificed to raise the GDP.
Luke Baker
Yeah but a majority of economists backed remain you fucking moron
Logan Anderson
Majority of economists also said we should of switched to the Euro.
Caleb Allen
I should say ((( E C O N O M I S T S )))
Gabriel Watson
everyone you mentioned is literally retarded in all the ways that count.
All they need is for their woman en children to die in concentration camps while we burn down their farms, and we can call it all square. BURN YOU FUCKS!
Jackson Reyes
Peggy Noonan's article, Trump and the Rise of the Unprotected, explains it quite well. It even predicted a successful Brexit.
>The protected are the accomplished, the secure, the successful—those who have power or access to it. They are protected from much of the roughness of the world. More to the point, they are protected from the world they have created. Again, they make public policy and have for some time.
>They are figures in government, politics and media. They live in nice neighborhoods, safe ones. Their families function, their kids go to good schools, they’ve got some money. All of these things tend to isolate them, or provide buffers.
>One issue obviously roiling the U.S. and Western Europe is immigration. It is the issue of the moment, a real and concrete one but also a symbolic one: It stands for all the distance between governments and their citizens. It is of course the issue that made Donald Trump.
>[Citizens] on the ground in member nations came to see the EU apparatus as a racket—an elite that operated in splendid isolation, looking after its own while looking down on the people. In Germany the incident that tipped public opinion against Chancellor Angela Merkel’s liberal refugee policy happened on New Year’s Eve in the public square of Cologne.
>Britain will probably leave the European Union over it. In truth immigration is one front in that battle, but it is the most salient because of the European refugee crisis and the failure of the protected class to address it realistically and in a way that offers safety to the unprotected.
Aaron Phillips
>ing >ins >ing
gee, i see a pattern here
Also smarter people like "black science man" are on the other side of spectrum, supporting trump and stronger borders
Zachary Price
They're pissed because the gravy train is now stuck at the station.
The "intellectuals" don't give a fuck about yours, or anyone's well being outside their circle.
Luis Perry
Because smart people understand the concept of greater good resulting in a average better outcome of everyone.
Christian Sanders

Levi Carter

If the GDP doesn't rise and your QOL doesn't decrease then they win
Carson Turner
I'll tell you why OP. Because there is a DIRECT RELATIONSHIP between education and voting REMAIN.
Just face it, leaving is stupid. Stupid people voted to leave.
Gabriel Sanchez
>woman >worth >Singapore
Chase Young
economists are usually wrong
Connor Davis
"Intellectuals" as in people who went through 6-8+ years of indoctrination at Marxist schools and live in nice gated communities where they never have to associate with the lower class immigrants and don't know anyone who lost a job to free trade Then they act all elitist because they don't have to suffer any of the downsides of globalization
Chase Morris
The irony is that if she had nevee written the books, she'd still be a poor single mom losing ground to the invaders.
I guarantee she'd vote leave if she was still broke.
Logan Young
You only hear about the intellectuals in comfortable positions, and those in comfortable positions don't want change
Matthew Edwards
>implying Europe wouldn't be irrelevant if not for the EU In the long term. This globalism meme has got to end. The EU is primarily an economic deal.
Andrew White
kek, very true.
they have nfc what's going on. it's just general panic.

Always wrong, and in bed with the bankers, this result can only be good for the people.

Jose Richardson
Rich idiots who think immigration and the free movement of people is good, while having no actual interaction with them or seeing their jobs at rest because of them
Justin Morales
She's literally worth a billion dollars. But hang on to your precious buzzwords, that'll help you ease the pain of knowing she is infinitely more successful than you. In fact so is Singapore, by adjusted gdp per captia.
Grayson Perez
Intellectualism has silly limitations. As men, those listed are pussies. Why stay and suffer? Less risk and effort required? I don't know if you guys think 'gas the kikes, race war now' is a joke but its going to require some effort on our part.
Gabriel Cox
>A biologists and a physicist are instantly wise in their political stances based on their profession

The economists were more concerned about short term market stability
Colton Garcia
See The bourgeois have no concept of what the consequences of their retarded decisions and ideas are. It's the workers who have to live with the mess they create. The bourgeois don't have to live with any of these "refugees" for example.
Adrian Rogers
>worth a billion I like Trump and he's worth more. I don't give a shit that's she is "successful". Has she been knighted for her books?
Ryder Foster
economists are paid to justify what governments tell them to justify
i dont know if economics teaches that but you know it in law and politics studies
John Phillips
No, intellectuals who are worth over fifty billion dollars who earned it by creating innovative products that everyone uses, Nobel prize winners and best selling authors.
Lincoln Lee
We were THIS close to having our own SEAsian Union too.
I'm glad that never happened so we don't have to deal with bullshit like this.
Gabriel Jones
U r cuntfag.
Oliver Brooks
Intellectuals are just that, fucking intellectuals. They have no expertise on the issues, but because they're in a better position than any other average chuckle fuck, people just want to see someone as their authority on the issue.
A children's book writer, a cripple scientist, a tv cuck host, and a fucking software engineer aren't going to be the leading experts in this shit.
Joshua Reyes
So, where's the list of intellectuals?
Kevin Walker
3 scientists, two computer nerds, a childrens author, a linguist, a shitty comedian
>2016 >still thinking these people have special insight into politics and life
Economy will be fine medium term
Brody Hughes
Im backing brexit, and i have 2 higher education degrees, one in economics kind of, the other in politics, so suck it, mong
And its not something im just saying for the maymays, thats what i feel like is best for me if i were living in britain right now. Cant believe the whole oh noes we will have to spend more for a while is a serious argument to some people.
And cant believe you call some "single mom" whore cunt that wrote heroin-fueled fantasy "an intellectual"
Isaac Thomas
>Now the U.K. economy is fucked
That doesn't matter to you buddy, it barely affects you. Meanwhile the collapse of the EU largely benefits you.
Now those retarded Brits will face the consequences. The UK's economy will collapse, and the UK itself will collapse (Scotland will secede). Can't wait to see all those "HURRR MUUH FREEDUMZ TIME TO LEAVE!!!" Brits in a few years, when the UK will become like Poland, ethnically clean but poor.
Julian Harris
People who got rich by selling out their countrymen to employ more shitskins overseas and even bring them across the sea to cut out the middlemen. People who depend on abusive copyright laws being enforced by international courts so they can keep making bank off decade old brands.
Nolan Walker
>Richard Dawkins >Evolutionary Biologist
Why doesn't Dawkins respect humanities to speciate?
Kayden King
ASEAN? We have a common market too. Remember the news when our government signed all those trade agreements?
Christopher Reed
>Muggle intellectuals
Blake Hernandez
Because you cant acquire a degree without become a marxist these days.
Thanks to the jews.
Joseph Carter
>when the UK will become like Poland, ethnically clean but poor
As a lifelong amerifat, I'd move to UK if this were true
Camden Ward
I honestly haven't heard ASEAN do anything significant for the past few years.
We can't even get ASEAN to stop Indonesia from burning forests.
It's like we signed all those agreements then forgot about it.
Leo James
Grow a pair you touchy fag. People have no obligation to hire someone for twice the pay because "He's my countrymen". If there's someone else doing it cheaper, it's because their labour isn't worth that much. Copyright laws are an important deal. Who the hell would make things if anyone could copy them? I hope you didn't say this and go and bitch about China's non enforcement of them in another thread.
Jack Kelly
it's almost as if the globalist kikes are using their pawns in the media to tell you who you should listen to, who's "popular" and who's an "expert"
Jose Walker
You can go ahead and move to Poland too if you want, they're also ethnically clean and poor.
That is the price a lot of Eastern European countries pay for being so ethnically pure, they are poor as fuck. It seems like the most multicultural countries (US, Germany, Canada, Scandinavian countries, etc) are very successful in the West while anti-immigrant countries don't fare so well (Talking about the West.)
Ethan Ortiz
false you just write what they want to hear and make your own opinions
but thats less likely than likely
75% of youth, whatever that means, voted remain. they are indoctrinated.
Nolan Ward
They've been there for awhile, you won't get headlines like "ASEAN free trade deal made in 1973 still in effect".
>can't stop all those burning forests Well it's mostly an economic agreement. And Indonesia has been trying to stop the haze. It's a hundred times worse for them.
Jaxon Williams

Anthony Parker
I only see indoctrination in this pic.
Josiah Adams
No, it's because some shitskins bred so uncontrollably that their lives aren't worth shit anymore and they have to work like it to survive. But a country like Singapore would never understand.
Jackson Allen
It has nothing to do with ethnic purity and everything to do with how shit was left after communism fucked the east.
Elijah Roberts
None of those people you listed are noted for their economic intelligence though?
Samuel Ward
hey faggot these countries, they were strong BEFORE multiculti
they have WEAKENED since then
but still comparatively compared to the shithole multiculti exporters we're better BECAUSE of our Anglo monoculture democratic remains
but that gets eroded with every increase of multiculti
Jonathan Jenkins
The EU will drag out the process to over the traditional two years, likely taking 3 or more, and by that time the Economy will be back to normal if not stronger
>British intellectuals
Jacob Flores
why so mad gringo?, a mexican took yer job? That is how capitalism works, deal with it

nah jose shit, that is not how capitalism works
Angel Rodriguez

Why is appeal to authority the only reason Remainers have?
Joshua Robinson
These are people who dont have to deal with shitskins, these are people who have the privilege of thinking that the environment is the biggest problem they face and that we all need to just unite and stop polluting the earth. They dont realize shitskins arent capable of that, because they're rich enough to be able to avoid them all. Thats why.
How the fuck is that not obvious to everyone
Noah Foster
Because big government benefits those who are able for whatever reason to successfully manipulate the system.
Elijah Morgan
Because multi-millionaires are corrupted.
Kayden Sullivan
At least my flag won't change and my country won't lose most of it's territory in the coming decades Bong.
Look at Spain, Austria, former Yugoslav countries, etc Of course, there are exceptions like Switzerland but they are few
Not really, multiculturalism on such a large scale is kinda recent in US history. Believe it or not but before WW2 the US was just an average power in the world. As the country became more multicultural, it became more powerful and the became the sole superpower on Earth. Germany, while despite always having a sound economy, has become a large economic power after it's unification and the beginning of multiculturalism. Multiculturalism here in Canada pretty much began with Canada, and here that was the start of a prosperous era (us becoming the largest trading partners in the world with the US), don't get me started on Scandinavian countries, etc.
All in all, this pattern can not be denied by anyone. Go with the flow of these successful countries or end up in poverty, the choice is yours.
Angel Baker
>implying resentment against the EU won't grow because people will perceive a bad economy as it punishing Britain for leaving.
Haha the UK has been declining since it joined the EU in 1973, this will set off a contagion that will tear the EU apart and send capital fleeing into the $
The EU was doomed by its own abusive regulation anyway, its collapse was inevitable.
Jaxon Price
>The EU is primarily an economic deal. then why does it keep trying to make an army
Robert Jackson
Most Economists are neo Keynesians, and Keynes was a total fucking loser and a fraud. So its no surprise.
William Campbell

No bias there! >Leftist activist with no economic or finance experience, and proven to push agendas he is paid to push >Integrity-free pro-Muslim leftist mouth piece with no real world experience in economics and finance >An IT based specialist with no finance and economics experience, who constantly pushes the global agenda >An economics shill that has been disproved countless times and a literal joke in the operating world of finance and banking
Yes Sup Forums, why aren't we listening to these brave intellectuals who completely know what they are talking about!
Dylan Johnson
What's Singapore like? It looks well developed and clean.
Angel Richardson
You are even less qualified to express an opinion about any of this though
